Full sig tutorial
#1
First of all, ALL credit goes to II nightmare II from nextgfx.com. I did nothing to this.

1) Open up a new document (I used 400x150)

2) Fill background with black.

3) Get out some good brushes, I used Jashins Brushes Set 14 from DeviantArt.com

4) now brush with white over the black

5) Go to Image --> adjustments --> Auto Contrast.

6) Make a new layer and fill it with black, brush again. Go to Image --> adjustments --> Auto Contrast. Now set the opacity to about 63%.

7) Repeat step 6 about 5-6 times, but for your last brushing layer, set it to "overlay" with opacity to 100%.

8) Now that you are done with brushing, find a good render to add to your sig, I will be using conker. Put the image in your sig and set it to "luminosity". Here is what I got:

9) Now add some text. Im not that good with text but I am using the font Waltograph UI, that was with the Walt Disney font at dafont.com biggrin.gif

10) I used these settings for the font:

Color of Font: White
Drop Shadow: Default Settings but with distance at 2 pixels
Inner Shadow: Default Settings but put distance at 4 pixels
Outer Shadow: Default
Bevel and Emboss: Default but with Size at 0 pixels
Satin: Default
Stroke: Default but with 1 pixel size and black color

11) Now I am goin to add subtext. I used Visitor font from dafont.com. I used these settings:

Color: White
Stroke: Default but with 1 pixel size and color black

12) Ok, now its time to add color to your sig. We are going to do a multi-colored effect to the sig. Go to Image --> Adjustments --> Color Balance. I used these settings:

Midtones: +40, 0, -30
Shadows: +40, 0, -30
Highlights: +40, 0, -30

Then go to Filter --> Render --> Clouds

13) To get the multicolored look, do that again but with different colors. Go to Image --> Adjustments --> Color Balance. I used these settings:

Midtones: -20, +30, 0
Shadows: -20, +30, 0
Highlights: -20, +30, 0

Now go to Filter --> Render --> Clouds

14) I am going to do one more layer of color balance, which will give the sig a good multicolored effect. Image --> Adjustments --> Color Balance. I used these settings:

Midtones: 0, -20, +20
Shadows: 0, -20, +20
Highlights: 0, -20, +20

Now go to Filter --> Render --> Clouds

15) Almost done! All we have to do now is add a border. Make a new layer then hit CTRL+A . Go to Edit --> Stroke. I used: Width=2 pixels, Color=Black, Location=Center, Everything else default.

16) On that same layer go to blending options. Go to stroke. Use 2 pixels, color=White, Blend Mode=Overlay, Opacity at about 63%.

EDIT- If you want jashin's brush sets (which are amazing) go to j-a-s-h-i-n.deviantart.com

You're supposed to use the clouds filter on the color balance, MiVeC.
