quite a bit, its 1/50000 to gamble for a unique item, since its a unique ring its 50,000x50,000=2500000000 2.5 billion gold needed to get a con ring

If they do release a new patch the hacked (most duped) items will be deleted like when .10 came out...sincew there were so many hacks and dupes they just deleted the items instead of the accounts.

i do not think diablo made them on multiplayer yet, on s/p all you have to do is go dig in the config files of d2 and change a number and constricting ring drops, its in there, but its value is "0" or something so it doesnt drop, anyways, i dont think it exists and even if it did i believe the life drain is high, and would kick your ***

actually i dout that...because they could do what ever they wanted if they put it in the legal part when you make a new account...they legally put spybots in your computer if it was stated in the legal part...and if you have hacked items they can delete your account for going against there rights and regualtions...and they own battle.net they could just close all accounts if they really wanted.

well, if they did delete all accounts...they would be losing busness and a bunch of ppl would try to sue them..but most ppl would just start over...and blizzard could always say somethng like there was a malfunction and all accounts got deleted..lol

Sue them? LOL for what? none of it belongs to us, belongs to blizzard, or battle.net.. we cant sue them for anything

I never said you could sue them, i said main people would try...kinda like fat people sueing Mcdonalds...and some guy sued on Everquest cus he lost his 2 year old account...i think he won to...i dont rember really...it was in an EGM or Gameinformer.

Yeah, I have a major question that needs answering though, will anyone please please help me out and trade me some hacked items, i will trade big legit items, hacked1 is my account name or pm me. Oh yeah, gotta add to the thread so this isnt spam, con rings arent hacked, but they are damn near impossible to find, and if you do find one, you are God, period.

Let me tell you little about the history of the constricting ring from the olden days, back when Diablo used to live 14 floors beneath a church. The constricting ring was the most powerful ring ever forged, or at least ever heard of by mortals in that time (there were none of these occy rings back then). The legends prophesied that the ring would constantly drink or, as aptly named, constrict the life force of the its master. In exchange the master would become nearly invulnerable (75%-95%) to all magicks and elements. Such a ring has been fabled to have been found, but only by the very bravest and strongest, who alone wouldn't even need the ring to defeat Diablo twice over (NM). I have seen such a ring, and I can tell you that great evil follows such power. There was little the hero could do if perchance his life force began to fade (there was no life regeneration back in the good old days, we always depended on Pepin for whatever our needs were). It was sad to see a hero stumble into town, dragging his half eaten corpse towards Pepin, but the heroes couldn't run back then (running was introduced to single player Hellfire mind you). Even though the ring was said to reduce ¾ dmg, the heroes always noted that it seemed somewhat beyond explanation, for what would kill them in a second would barely even phase them. Truly the constricting ring is an item of great interest and even grander lore.

it sounded alright, perhaps bnet could tune down constrict rings life drain to -10, that way with two on a sorceress could just use hoto for replenish and have 95 to all resists
