Un-Official 2005 D2Sector Awards Category Suggestions

Introduction
D2Sector is more then a community, it is a vast family of dedicated gamers and forumers from every corner of the world. All of D2Sectors members make it what it is today, and for this everyone deserves a little credit and honor for being part of this site.

My Personal Experience
Well, it was April, 2004, and I had been browsing around on the internet for a Diablo II community in which I could join and meet some new D2er's. Not knowing would I find D2Sector, and actually stay here for 15 months I've been here. I came across Diablo World and joined my first forum ever under the name "Karant." In a few hours of my first couple posts I was banned. Not exactly knowing what I did wrong, I gave up and went onto the next Diablo II site. This is where D2Sector came into my part of my life.

How the 2005 Awards will Work
- Nomination categories will be chosen.
- You can now vote for anyone in the whole forum that you choose deserves the title. The vote should be private messaged to me.
- Nominee's with the most votes in their category will be awarded wih the title.

Current Process
Right now, we are asking for suggestions for what categories we should have.

Confirmed Categories:
- Staff Member of The Year - Active, commited, and dedicated.
- Contributor of The Year - Commited, active, and contributes without expecting anything in return.
- Non-Staff Member of The Year - Commited and contributing.
- Noob of The Year - Bad spelling and grammar, always gets flamed, self explanitory...
- Graphics Designer of The Year - Great at designing graphics.

Make monthly awards too, and perhaps we should do a newb of the year award given to person that was banned and deserved it the most.

Well the thread name was sugjestions so I supose posting just came with the territory.

I think posting would work better anyway, because then people will be able to build on other peoples ideas. If this isent ok with you karant I'll remove the msges, your call k?

Another idea comes to mind, the fastest banned award, goes to the person who got banned closest to joining.

Yeh, looks like we actually read the rules. I sent Karant a PM with my ideas right after i read the thread (i had around 12 or so ideas, many of them people here have suggested)

Wow, glad to see the positive replies. Well, doesn't matter whether you pm them to me or post them in here. Anyways, if were gonna' have monthly awards, I don't think I'll be able to plan those on my own. Considering I'm already busy with the real world.

Lol its not a GOOD award to recieve.

And maybie I should correct myself and say IP banned, that pretty much only happens once per guy. Still, I'm just throwing ideas out there.
