Pantallica, why is it lame? Sure, I must admit that it is a way of cheating, but it's a better way to get items then to scam, don't you think? I think botting is a way to get items for ppl who don't have so much time to play D2. And why shouldn't they have the right to have good items and so have fun while playing?

Because it's cheating.

If you want to cheat, play open battlenet. When you bot, you take the fun away from the people who actually work for the items.

Don't give me any speeches about this... I played d2 for 5 years and I botted for longer than anyone on this site. I knew it was lame. I just kept doing it because I was hooked.

I'm officially 3 months free of Diablo and I'm happy about that. I've seen both sides of the botting thing... so you can't argue.
