I love the intro part of samouri X, where Rurouni's (Shinta's) master saves him. I gota buy it sometime, I downloaded it but its too low quality. It made me so mad when they stopped playing Rurouni Kenshin on tv after it started again, I think they did it because it wasent actually on Adult Swim so it was to violent.

ive never heard of samurai x but ruroni kenshin is of the chain i will probably be the first to admit it but watching this sumtimes reminds me of an animated soap opera with extra killing and more plot twists than just amnesia kidnapped babies treachery comas and dead people cuming back to life

ok well to the first post just because ruroni kenshin doesn't have as much killing doesn't make it worse. I really like samurai X because it's plot is so much better and but i do like ruroni kenshin eventhough i saw super edited version on tv i like how he has to face his inner demons and has to no kill and stuff and i like son-os-k(sono) and how kenshin trys to live a normal life but has to fight. I prefer samurai X but ruroni kenshin is good for just watching cause its not as deep as samurai x i think it'd make a better tv show(uncensored)

All of WHICH series? There are about 10 different RK series. RK:Wandering Samurai is just one of them.

Wandering Samurai was on TV. The other series deal primarily with life after Kenshin and Kaoru get married and "settle" down. Some of them feature Kenshin, and/or his family, but focus on the other main characters and what happens to them. Really there is a RK series for each character from Wandering Samurai and then yet another series that continues after the end of Wandering Samurai with Kenshin and Kaoru and their family.

To be honest there is a whole web of series that spawned from Wandering Samurai and a couple of movies as well other than Samurai X I believe. If anyone feel energetic and up for some serious time consumption they could go scoure the net for all the different series for RK.

There arent that many Rurouni Kenshin series >_>

There's the Rurouni Kenshin TV series made up of three arc's - "Wandering Samurai" and "Legend of Kyoto" which is based on the manga and the completely made up
Tales of the Meiji". Then there are two OVA's, "Rememberance" which is based on the first part of the Jinchuu Arc where Kenshin tells the story of his past and then there is "Reflections" that is also made-up and serves as an ending to the Rurouni Kenshin anime.

I'm really looking forward to completing the manga series as its released, I only got up to volume 8 and we are already dipping our feet into the Jinchuu Arc. If you really like Kenshin though and you enjoyed the OVA's, check out the original source - the manga. It's alot more graphic.
