Holy crap sweet; i've been away from my computer for a couple of days for helping sister move and throwing norton internet security 2005 against the wall for being gay.

this is AWESOME; thank you blizz for helping make the game much much better, god bless you guys. if they can find a way to remove bots and mh's that'd make it even better but i won't press my luck. great idea with the various req level's; i'll see y'all in 1.11!

wow ive prob been here one yr.. i really used lots when 1.10 patch came out but then again.. i mite staart to play d2 again.. then again this site would need new updates and guilds for 1.11

Pickit should be fine. It's MH you have to worry about. Pickit is completely clientside. They can't make it so you can't send packets which is all pickit does.

i cant wait untill the new patch, w/e they do to hurt/make teh game better i will stick with it untill i get bored, if they amke the level requiremtn liek taht big deal jsut means u gotta work a little harder not that big of a deal i dont think thats y theres soemt hings such as cows diablo runs etc..... u ppl that get mad about bots and all that i cant wait til they get rid of those thigns, i ahev nvr once used and bot and nvr will they ruin the game imo. the game was meant for u to fidn stuff on your own to help your characters. only thing i will miss is mh if they get rid of it,but hell i went like 4 months without it. thank you blizzard for a new patch finally.

I quit D2 about 6 months before 1.10 came out and I just started playing again 3 days ago. Now I hear of 1.11 coming out. I should have just stayed retired.

I found this while searching for patch info, it has some interesting info.


The Evils in the Diablo series are...
Duriel, the Lord Of Pain
Andariel, the Maiden of Anguish
Belial, Lord of Lies
Azmodan, the Lord of Sin
Mephisto, the Lord of Hatred
Baal, the Lord of Destruction
Diablo, the Lord of Terror

Lilith isn't on there, as you can tell. Maybe she has links to the seven, like being a lieutenant somewhat Izual/Tyreal style.

Also doing some back reading, it says that Izual was corrupted when he was assaulting Hell. When he attacked, he was the user of the Azurewrath Phase Blade (a popular "angel" build weapon). But more specifically, Izual was trying to kill someone who carried the "Shadowfang" sword. This is a sword in Diablo II (albeit, not a very good one).

Maybe Lilith was the person Izual was seeking to kill?

It also has a story of Bartuc and Horazon. They were brothers, and Bartuc became evil. Both of them were Vizjeri. Basically, Bartuc became evil, and Horazon (the summoner), was able to protect himself from the demons by bending them to his will and hiding in the Arcane Sanctuary.

WHOA! The word sanctuary. Isn't that on the Blizzard main page? Something heroes will once again have to save?

Or could it be the Chaos Sanctuary? That's where Diablo hides.

In further thinking, notice how it's not "the sanctuary", on all the Blizzard sites. It's a proper noun, called "Sanctuary". Maybe the new area to explore will be Sanctuary. Could there be another act where you and fight in this "Sanctuary"? Or could they just be expanding onto Act IV (Hell) with a Lilith Quest or something. Maybe Izual joins Tyreal after you free him and gives you quest information.

Here's another interesting quote from the Diablo story contained in Diablo I. "The Prime Evils, weakened and bodiless, were banished to the mortal realm where Azmodan hoped that they would remain trapped forever. Azmodan believed that with the Three set loose upon humanity, the Angels would be forced to turn their focus upon on the mortal plane - thus leaving the Gates of Heaven abandoned and defenseless."

Maybe they'll add a new act where you go to a heavenly outpost, "Sanctuary". That'd make a lot of sense.

Either that... or that'll be a storyline possibility for Diablo III.

That's the end of my speculations. It makes sense for me, storyline wise. I dunno how the 1.07 Coutness fits into all this, but she does somewhere. Guess we wait for the new patch / expansion / Diablo III.

EDIT: I found out that the world of diablo is CALLED 'sancuary' i never knew that, and i thought maybe some ppl didnt either...

It's rumored to be August 1st because of the "Scheduled taking down of the realms." And also the annoucements were made yesterday. So it's assumed that it will be August 1st.

I was told that last time they annouced a patch, it took a year (?) before it happened.
