Can i log into battlenet at home and at Internet cafe? i thought it wouldn't let me sign in if i stayed in the game at home and tried to sign in at CAfe.

We need to duel. YOu play uswest. i play uswest. Are you ladder. Cuz im not.
If your non ladder we needz to duel.

I just installed DII on Sunday (I bought the treasure chest back in '03). I promptly found and installed the v1.11 patch. Should I have just played v1.07 for a liitle while?

Also (some noob questions):

1. Ladders?

2. Uber Diablo?

If someone can point me to an up-to-date faq I'd be greatful.

hey i always c in the guides.. to have put enough dex so u have 75% chance of blocking...but how do i know how much dex i need to get 75% chance of blocking..plz help!!! thank you

Yes, ull need a certain amount of dex. The dex amount depends on ur level so ull need alot of dex. I would test this using open b.net and hero editor. The max block, most characters need dex around 200 if they are a high level (mid 80's and above) So when u level, u need to add another 2-3 dex to keep the max block. Its complicated but ills how u an example

level 88 Druid - 200 Dex (Not Real) = 75% block
level 89 druid - 204 dex = 75% block

so everytime u level, u need to add a lil more dex to keep it at 75%. Best shield to do this with is STORMSHIELD well i ebeleive ur gonan use the shield for block

This post is a guide on how to get yourself a Hellfire Torch Large Charm.

1. Get the Keys-

You need to do runs on the following Superunique monsters to obtain the three different keys so you can open the portals to the uber bosses.

The Key of Terror- Countess (hell difficulty)
The Key of Hate- Summoner (hell difficulty)
The Key of Destruction- Nihlathek (hell difficulty)

I would suggest getting three complete sets of keys before moving on to the next step.

2. Get the Body Parts-

Since the portals that are created, by transmuting (in the Horadric Cube) a set of the three keys, is random it is best to create all three portals in the same game so you will get a portal to each of the different new levels where the first three uber bosses are.

You need to open the portals in Act 5 Hell difficulty.

Each portal will lead to the one of the following levels-

Matrons Den- Lilth (drops Diablos Horn)
Forgotten Sands- Duriel (drops Baals Eye)
Furnace Of Pain- Izual (drops Mephs Brain)

Note- Do not do not make the mistake I did and transmute the three sets of keys with the cube in your inventory!! This may cause the portals to "stack" and will make it hard to or in my case impossible to select a portal. [IMG]http://www.ladderhall.com/forum/html/emoticons/sad.gif[/IMG]

3. The Body Parts-

Transmute the three body parts to open the final portal (also in Act 5 Hell Difficulty) to Tristram where you will meet and have to defeat Meph, Diablo and Baal (uber versions [IMG]http://www.ladderhall.com/forum/html/emoticons/happy.gif[/IMG] ) . Upon defeating the last boss (order does not matter) he will drop the Hellfire Torch Large Charm and a Standard of Heros (one Standard for each player in the game).

4. Thats It!!-

The Hellfire Torch Large Charm has the following mods-

+3 to a random character class skills
+10-20 to all attributes
+10-20 to all resistances
+8 to light radius
Charged Skill- Hydra level 30 (max 10 charges)
25% chance to cast level 10 Firestorm on striking

The Standard of Heros at this time does nothing!!!
