i believe that flag may have originated from Wc3. It wouldn't make sense for a flag to be called Standard of the Hero that is a fallen shaman flag. Incidentally, i don't know if it has anything to do with it, but I know in Wc3 you can create standard heroes at one of your buildings; so like after a unit is created in a way a hero is then born, so that is what getting the flag is like; you have been born a hero after defeating the 3 uber prime evils.

Hero = Godly Warrior a.k.a. HERO!!!

If you want to be called a Hero you need to have a Standard of Hero in your inventory to prove it, I'm thinking people with Standard of Hero will benefit later on, somehow... it is a badge of glory, of the honorary deeds you have done.

it could be just Uniques to fool people of getting instead of going for the Large Charm, its a bit hard with 8 items drop at the same time ya know...

meh i did the ubers yesterday and they=ez my smtier owned them all it was with my friends hammerdin but he sucked *** and died everytime so i ahad to kill the ubers before he could get his body back.my smiter only had trouble after diablo cuz of those damn physic immunes
