Diablo 3 in the works?

if d3 IS coming, they shoyld ad like two more diff character classes, bcuz all of the characters are old, i mean, they should have some more challenges, and maybe like two more acts? and, they should make diablo the LAST boss, bcuz they shouldve just called the game "BAAL" not "Diablo 2 LoD".

well its in diablo2 he is the boss but in LOD the lord of destruction is boss,hence baal oh and i think what they were working on was just 1.11 because i dno they havent realy annouced d3 so im kinda skeptical

pay to play it disgusts me to even think of it and to think that they would think that would be better for business lets talk statistics i would say that 65% - 80% of d2s population are kids under 14 those are kids who cant get jobs and the another 5% - 15% are kids 15 - 18 who can get a job but figure whats the point because then ill never have time to play. The last 5% - 15% are adults who only play 15 mins a day on their break thats even if their job allows and then even if they play at home they have LIFES.
(numbers probably won't match up) so y risk all those customers over a stupid 15$ dollars a month. great games have met their down fall due to pay to play such as wow coh and other i cant exactly name but they failed in my book (i hope my first full blown opinion actually means sumthing)

City of heroes did not fail and neither did WoW, in fact WoW is the most popular MMORPG to be released since the original EQ.

And certainly you can't all be expecting D3 to be anything like D2? If you are thinking that then you are sadly mistaken.

u know what this might sound like a conspiricy but i think p2p games are they way to not have to have ao rating either that or or thats their way to try and prevent ne lawsuits and scandals like gta has now

I honestly expect it to be alot like WoW, or at least that is my hope. My other hope is that with so many MMO's hitting the market that they will become cheaper a month, while 15$ isn't much for me I prefer the idea of paying 10$ or 7$

I don't think Blizzard making an MMO out of the WC universe was a very good idea, seeing as they made up all the shit to make the game. In theory, making a RTS into a MMO isn't a very good decision, especially when they got a crowd into that kind of thing playing D2, none the less a risky move.

Even if 2 million people play it, I don't because it isn't anything but another case of "SellitiusOutaitis".

As for D3, if they do play on making it, they're going to have to re-establish a fan base seeing as D2 has been dead to the scene for 4 years, and they already made a MMO from the WC series.

Even if they do want to make it, it will take more than 4 years, seeing as they're usually pretty stubborn about these things and they're currently working on SC: Ghost, and Diablo for the PSP/NDS (IIRC).

I do play WoW and that's why I hope that D3 if it comes out would be like WoW. Yes, I'd like a few changes and I'd like a feel that makes me feel immersed into the diablo world just like WoW did with the Warcraft series.

Even though it has been 5 years since the release of Diablo 2 it still has many fans. Diablo 1 was a revolutionary game and has for ever put the name name Diablo in a place where they could put shit in a box slap the word "Diablo: The Reliving" and sell over 700,00 copies at least.

yeah Mr.Fabulous, i hope that the next diablo will be like WoW (i also play WoW). The next diablo will be created at some point but i think we will see it 2007 (maybe mid-late 2006). We also have to keep in mind that Starcraft ghost is one of thier projects to so....

Blizzard create WoW now they are developing Starcraft Ghost (which i dont like), now its time for Diablo. But what i wanna say is that the first year or even the first 2 years we will not here anything about it than they will come out with one info that they are developing Diablo III ....... and will say that it will be finish after one year. We will all be happy and than after 1 year waiting they will say that there are serious problems and are not available to finish the game in this period of time and nothing more, when they feel much secure after 3-4 months will say something like that again and we will hope our grandchilds will be able to play it and to tell us how it looks like because we will be unable to get up from the bad (english humor, im not from England ) I hope it will not look like WoW, because i want difference i was playing WoW for 4 months but now cant pay for it and this is what i dont like in game like this. The support for the World cost much, because there are working non stop to keep the realms not crushing and the ppl not whinning all day long offcours this cost money and if there is only price for the game and no months pay they will not win anything there will be no game after it and ...... I will buy it will play again 6 months and will just looking it another 6 than again 6 months play ..... I think everyone has understand my oppinion maybe for some of us i sounds stupid.

Alright GHOST was in the making for about 5 years now, 2nd i didnt really think D3 would come out since most of blizzards tech team left the blizzard company because Diablo2 was holding them back. Wow Blizz just comes out with shit all the time
