does anyone else experience this when they have too many item. i can have a maximum of 98 items in all including socketed jewels and any items in my stash.
also exactly how many magic attributes will cause ur game to crash when u look at during game play(too many magic attributes) sometimes it happens when i have 27 other times when i have 25. is it different for each item

i think the maximum you can have, in total, is 255 attributes. Any more may crash the game you're in or won't let you play your character. Try socketing jewels with the same attributes to the item instead of making the same attribute on every item.
You may also be over the stacked item limit too, but i don't know what the limit is for that.

 ur right in the fact that it may be linked to attributes. i just got over the # i was talkin about but with no attributes. do u mean the # of different attributes because ive had more than that before. i usually use a list of about 22 attributes that i put on all my items so i can get over 8mil health and 2mil mana but that doesnt seem to be the problem either.it might be a combination of items and attributes. confused:

never mind. i found out it has to do with memory. the more attributes, items and other stuff u put on ur guy the more memory it takes up and there is a limit before it causes an error.

Glad you fixed your problem. I can get into more depth of my last post.
The game only reserves 1 byte for how many attributes can be used on the character (what is equiped on him and on charms) which allows a maximum value of 255. If you try to have over 255 attributes used (i don't think it counts on unequiped items like armor and weapons), there is not enough memory reserved to handle the extras so the game crashes (if you try adding more in game) or won't let you use your character. Of course you already figured this out so that makes this post useless, but it can be used as reference.
If the game had 2 bytes to use to store the attributes then we could use:
65535 attributes!
That's slightly too much and due to the stats rolling back, it's useless to use 2 bytes. If only the game didn't have those restrictions, your character would kill anything in one hit and not even lose 1 hp from the most deadliest hit in the game with 2 bytes of memory allocated to attributes!

the max attributes per item is 30. if you end up with 31 on one item, the game crashes, regardless of the maximum memory limit. 31 makes it all go screwy.
so basically 30x98=2940 attributes. so if you dont have 98 items then your fine.

im afraid ur wrong i had 78 items or so with an average of 26 attributes each approx=2000. one more item and i coudnt load. i know about over 31 attributes. that might not even inlcude ith and set attributes though because i had the same problem before i started using ith and set.

no more problems mostly just trial and error to find out how much memory my hacks take up.
