No, it doesn't affect open B.net. The banned CD-keys can still access it.

They'll ban everyone for everything eventually. Why they came back with avengance on 1.11 is beyond me. They'll get the botters, the maphackers, the pickits and so on until all thats left is a few hundred legit hardcore players that know the game and the random maps inside and out. Then they can close down the diablo servers and dedicate them to WoW. Thats what it seems to me. Its like they want D2 to go away. Someone said that a maphack isnt hurting anyone. And, really thats right. What difference does it make if we can see the whole map. I could see if it was the same map every time, and we only had to find it once, then the deal is up to us to find the rest of what we need to see. Regardless, Blizzard seems intent on getting rid of us. I hope the accounts they suspended makes their gear companies some more money. Nothing like recycling.

If they wanted to get rid of d2 they would. They'd just shut down the servers and say "your own fault".

i eft mine on for a long period of time, i think u u use it and turn it off, they wont detect it.

being checking your forums for a couple days and finally got around to joining...anyways, yea it sucks for all the people that got banned but you have to try to see things from blizz's point of view; people were violating their terms of use. i guess i am glad i've had to work almost every day for the past week or i might be one of the people banned too.

Does it make you feel good that you can tell people that you told them so? Man you are pretty lame for it. Most people here are agreeing that we screwed up by using it and getting nicked for it. I went over there to check it out, and wow. There's even a few guys who are making death threats and shit. One guy is claiming he is going to commit suicide. Some people really freaked out. I got nicked, but I'm going to move on. These guys are complete freaks and need some clinical help.
