I think it's interesting how people seem to think that they cannot play D2 anymore if they get their CD Key banned. Well, what are you getting banned from? The Realms...that's it. The main purpose of a game is to play it and beat it/get the highest score. It just so happens that this game has the PRIVILEGE, NOT THE RIGHT to play with other players across the world. How many games in the past (and I mean going all the way back to Atari) allowed you the opportunity to play with anyone other than the person sitting next to you? Blizzard Entertainment created a way to link people around the world through a game and then offered it to people to use.
What some of you people seemed to have forgotten is that you have to click on whether or not you want to play Single Player or Battle.Net whenever you load Diablo 2. Your CD Keys got banned from a privilege, but the main game is still there for you to enjoy.
I guess the main point is this: When a person creates something, they want it to be used properly. Blizzard created something: Realms. They set the rules: You can't see the entire map, you can't know where all of the monsters are, you can't hack this code. If you created something for the enjoyment of others and someone came along and started twisting around your invention, would you too not take action against those folks? Old Adage: Put yourself in their (Blizzard's) shoes and see how you like it.
