I dont know if theres a guide on how to get rid of it but heres one and what I did and I was safe.
If you did not download it your fine and DONT download it. It opens port 1010 and steals your stuff on d2 including your cd-key.
If you downloaded it already. Delete ALL files of Easy Map into the recycle bin. And then clear our your WHOLE recycle bin or just clear out all of the files from easy map.
I have not downloaded it.. but my brother was stupid enough to dl it on MY cd key with out reading. I did what I just told you up there and I was fine. If you dont understand this just tell me what you dont ill try to put it in different words.

IK... I agree with The Reaper on this is a sucky thread that has no point. Seriously don't just make random threads cuz you can and 'sticky' them up to top... The one post guy pwns you. Everybody knows how to delete files, there are enough threads about Easymap getting people banned, we don't need one more telling us that, + making us look retarded for reading up how to delete some files...

well if people are being banned for it they would OBVIOUSLY know that they should delete it and even if they dont it doesnt amtter as long as theyre not running it

Well, all I can say is that the new easymap is pretty good so far (beta) anti-detection on it as far as I know is pretty good. Oh, the rumors about it opening ports is not true.
