2000 Posts!

[[Just a post saying that I noticed I have finally reached 2000 posts... I have a few words I'd like to say.]]

- Thanks to all the ******s who made it possible for me to say, "Owned!!" and close their threads... always a +1 to my post count.

- Thanks to all of the ****wits who try to flame me, which lead to me fighting for myself and getting another few posts... +X to my post count.

- Thanks to all of the cool people I have conversation with in the forums. Hope to see you kids get into the 2000 post club soon (if you're not already here. I don't know who has how many posts. =/).

- I've been here for 9 months.

- I was made a moderator of the Clan DIIS forum at around 200 posts, at request of UGM (Chad).

- I was made Super Moderator of the forums somewhere between 300-500 posts. To those of you who think it was because I was friends with the Admins, wrong. I was VOTED in by all of the Mods and Admins at the time.

- I post APPROXIMATELY 8 times a day.

- I use the "invisible" feature because it's incredibly useless.

- My profile has stated that I'm 4 years old for the whole time I've been here, and no one has ever said anything.

- To date, I've perm-banned 17 people.

All I can really say is be active in the forums. Know what you're talking about, and be a respectable member.

Help people out when you can. I think the big thing that did it for me was helping UberGrossMann catalogue all of the DIIS items... he had me made mod of the DIIS forums. I guess I showed initiative by cleaning out the forums with the spam, made special stickies (like River Shaman does with the tech forum).

The time came where there were not enough supers online all the time. The doeums were flooded with spam. I noticed, and talked to Cheshire. I told him there weren't enough mods to cover the time and he agreed. He held a vote on the admin/mod boards, and I ended up with the most votes.

The other 2-3 candidates were/are respected members of the forum. Some of them have been made mods now, others have achieved veteran status. I won't name the names, because I don't want any sore feelings.

So I guess all that there is to being a mod is show responsibility, dedication and be active.

BTW, Thanks to everyone for the congratulations. I'm going for the big 3000 now!
