I think it's a server-side scanner so you wouldn't be able to find the source code unless it was leaked.

No, it's clientside.
Check mousepad's forums, it's called Warden..It's a clientside scanner that they can update without patching your game.

and it cant do shit about MM-Bot. Also just re-name ur d2-folder. Screwes over there warden because it would target the basic d2 folder wich if its re-named isnt there.

yeah its called warden but so you know Cheating-Death is a counter-strike anti-hack program soo yeah try not to mix those up

I dont think so EasyMap didnt needed Changes in Directory. but you where banned too.

So if I don't rename my D2 folder I could get my CD Key banned because of their client-side Warden scanner?! Woah, would D2 still work with a changed D2 Folder name??

Once again....
It does not scan your folder.
NOTHING scans your folder.
Only antivirus programs, scan your folder.
Warden checks the memory of the .exe/.dll's to see if anything has changed.

dont know how advanced warden is, but if they just search for invalid dll's loaded into the d2 process, you probably could just counter it with a stealth injector. Punk Buster (another anti cheat software) found a way to still detect programs hidden with a stealth injector so its not a sure thing that warden can't.
