ok children listen up and pay close attention: Standard of Heroes: the standard of heroes is a small charm designed for uber people who can kill the uber trists. The reason why lvl requirement is so high is because you have to be close to godlike to kill ubers in which blizz assuems you have to be lvl 90+. This very under estimated charm does one important thing for lvl 90+ chars. When you die you do not lose exp. End of story.

IDK.. if i wanna take the opinion from a guy with the name TheDiabloNoob!?!?!?!?......

no man im jk... but seriously i highly doubt that they would only make it safegaurd ur EXP i mean ur lvl 90 already... its not like you have that much more to go....and i can tell you right now that my 91 sorc still looses exp when she dies.. so i dont know... maybe you only loose half or something like that... but i seriously think that there is more to this story than meets the eye... if it safegaurded ur exp.. why would Blizz not just splat that in the item description...doesnt take that much more work.. it just doesnt add up to me... but i guess we will all know here in a little while longer.....Hopefully.

Makes sense bout the 'You have to be lvl 90 for it to work', but i would think blizz would tell you what it did. Noob have you tried this out?

Maybe they give you a lvl 99 char if your right!!!

or not...:devilish:

if the whole 'you dont lose exp' bs was true it would be known by now, bering level 90 i snothing rare, i had 4 level 90 chars before i deleted them when ladder reset

my point still remains, that if it were true that it prevents you from losing xp when you die it would be completely useless on hardcore. and i dont think blizz would make an item that helps sc players out and not hc

well what if they did?

then they are dumb and i hate them for making an item that i cannot use?

hell, if it does keep you from losing experience, im gonna get to lvl 90 as fast as i can and try.

i still think that it does not prevent you from losing xp, but if someone can prove it does, cool. i'm happy for all you sc players...no really, i am...since your game just got even easier...

Has anyone even bothered looking it up on the internet?

Well, I'm sorry to say this but the losing EXP theory is not true, my friend has a lvl 92 and tryed it and still lost EXP.....I guess we will have to keep figuring out what it does. Which i personally dont want to do, to time consuming :S

So someone tried transmuting them? And nothing I suppose. Its probably a thanks for playing charm. Ain't that a kick in the nutz. Or a haha you're too slow to grab the good charm charm. Either way, when I do get one, I don't think I'll throw it away. Maybe just toss em on a mule and stock pile em.

Oh, while I'm thinking of it, when someone tried to transmute, what number of charms did you try? I'm interested. And, did anyone throw anything in the cube with it? Maybe it'll upgrade it or something Just a thought

its true and its tested on my 93 pally

i'll verify its not true...just tested on my 90 zon...had one on me and one in stash. i died and lost a lot of exp..killed 12 minions (give or take a few) in the stony field in hell. and still ended up 100k exp shy.

so no it does not safegaurd your exp.

i did see a thing in tech support on blizzard, that in fact it does do something, and later on its suppose to do a lot more...but the tech failed to mention what...

I know what they do.
They're made specifically to make players wonder what they do and waste time trying to figure it out instead of playing :p

exactly, blizz just wants you to have something else to worry about because the game is just too easy anymore
