I have kinda proven that it increases the chances to find a key because in 7 countress runs i found 6 keys and 1 Lo rune so im not sure mabye it was just luck because im lvl 84 but who knows

I have tried all the myths out there for the keys everything from 12 in a cube and tranmute too everyone have one in inventory and even the lvl 92 pally finding better items or more keys from what i understand now that there is nothing to do with them this patch maybe there will be something big for them next patch so ill just put them on a mule and wait which will be a long time but hmm oh well

im guessing it is just a suvinior lol, the only thing i can think of it maybe doing is rerolling ? But that is for magic items so maybe not. ill make a 90 char when i get back to d2 if i do and ill get 40 SOHS in inventory and see what ahppennnnnssss

i heard that 12 of them open a new level but i only got 6 or i would try it lol

maybe they transmute into a black tower key, and you combine that with 10 uped wirts legs to create uber cow lvl

i got my hammer paladin to lvl 90 to see if i notice anything different no nope nothing at all. this is driving me crazy
i did an hour of key runs after lvl 90 and found only 1 terror key..........

Im kinda 50/50 on this, i personally think that its just for show, but i have heard a rumor that someone on blizz staff said it did something else but wouldn't say what it was. I don't know if this is true or not but i can't help but to think what if?

Personally I think that it is the same thing as an ear, but I kinda think that it also does something.. It would be an incredible waste of time if it did nothing. One of the Blizz employees will leak something and we'll eventually find it, untill then it couldn't hurt to keep trying things..
