2K's NECROMANCER GUIDE

What do you guys say about a necro with 5 aura ( fanatism, might, holy freeze, thorns aura, spirit of the barbs) and 13 or more to all skills (depinds on what items you use).............RATE IT PLEASE.............!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Summoning Spells

Skeleton Mastery 20
Raise skeleton 20
Clay Golem 1

Amplify Damage 10 (Skeletons do 2x damage!!!)

1) Shako + 2 all skills

Weapon:
1)Beast (level 9 fanatism)

1) Bramble (Thorns aura)

very,very crafty i did a similiar thing in single player, but anyway i think that you might consider getting rid of teeth and corpse explosion and maxing out your other skills, its your guy though and it would work either way... oh yea, a question do you have all that stuff?

holy freeze, fanatiscm , thorns , might , are surely a aura....paladin....spirit of the barbs maybe not......anythong else...........and i can have 5 aura....defiance from a shield with runeword...........what do you say now....

thanks for the advice...........I'll try it...home...and its pretty good...because my skeletons kill everything....and maybe a can have another aura...defiance from a runeword shield.....................

My weapon is beast it gives fanatiscm
My armor is Bramble it gives thorns aura and spirit of the barbs
My merc gives might and with doom that gives holy freeze

whoa u get auras! thats wicked for having an armie of at least 50+ If my comp didnt lagg me out when a necro summoned an armie i would try this but it seems expensive

hmm i'm looking at a zealer build (ladder req) ppl tell me what you think:

Skills:
Sacrifice-20 (zeal synergie)
Zeal-20
Fana-20
Holy Shield-20 (explained later)
Holy Freeze-15
Remaining Points: You can continue to max freeze if you wish, but with diminishing effects... or you may choose to add skills to defensive auras like Redemption *for tough spot w/o pots* or Salvation (helps with party)

Items:
Helm-Upgraded Gaze (no question)
Armor-If at all possible Levethian, if not, just use upgraded shaft...
Sheild-For this build i recommend "exile" in a eth zak or vortex shield... this is why holy shield is maxed...
Gloves-Steelrend if possible, if not, high def leech, draculs etc...
Weapon-BoTD zerker...lol i know, if ur not that rich... a 2x shael'd triple ohm'd ettin works nicely Smile
Belt-Perfect Upgraded String
Boots-Upgraded Gore Riders
Rings-Bk's obvious choice, but sometimes str/leech rings are preferred, especially if you don't wanna spend all those points on str for levethian/steelrend...
Ammy-Once again... there's a conflict because some would say "Seraphs w/o a doubt" others argue ammies are too valuable in terms of stat savings.. str/dex/life etc... so really, this is up to you...

Strategy:
Well, this is fairly straighth forward, with a good eth exile your shield will reach 900+ def Big Grin! so maxxed holy shield (+310% shield def at lvl 20) = a good 4.5k def shield, not to mention the very nice 13-16 defiance... *we'll say it's a lvl 15*... this means, an extra 210% OVERALL def boost.. levethian and upgraded gaze... upgraded string as well...and your looking at some SERIOUS defense... and the lack of +block% on "exile" is made up for by holy shield as well. Zeal's natural ar bonus along side maxed fana shouldn't give you too much trouble... and holy freeze helps in that you can holy freeze a group, run into the middle *defense comes in handy here* start wacking away, and when you make your first contact and start swinging faster, kick in fana... *Gore Riders helps here too Smile* of course you can whip out 'laying of hands' when dc comes knockin' but he shouldn't pose much of a problem, your dmg reduce gear and hella leech take care of him in no time Smile


Sorry it was so long guys but i had to establish every angle on the build in it's entirety, if any comments or suggestions just post back i'll make sure to take everyone's tips into account Smile

ThatPala si pretty good ...but Smile ......Smile its better if you do not put 15 in holy freeze because you give your mercenarie....doom wich gives level 12 holy freeze..
Smile Big Grin and your mercenarie gives you might or defiance......

dont get a defiance merc if you are going to use exile since they wont stack the auras. get a blessed aim merc with eth doom if u have low attack rating

haha! good thinking i totally forgot about the merc Sad played classic for too long... sooo, hmmm maybe a might merc? Big Grin i dont think w/fana and zeal you should have a problem w/AR but then, this zealer has like 35 skill points left over! lol :p you could do like some res aura's when fighting DC w/party? iunno, i'll think about it... anyways, i wont be able to post again till tomorrow so everyone will have to wait for my say on comments posted tonight...

yeah me get the exile shield runeword that gives me defiance.....and merc with might because it gives damage and with fanatiscm it gives a lot damage for my skeletons......!!!!!!!!
So what do you guys say about my necromancer....??? Big Grin

Hi this is my first post on here. Can anyone help me with a siggy? And I need new strategies for a necro. I've never done one and have been playing for over a year, so don't think I'm a noob haha. If you need help on Zonbuild or Pallybuild or Barbbuild, they are my specialties. Seeya around

just wonderin. i heard from a friend that revive isnt that good and that skellies and mages are better to summon. is this true. can anyone give me any insights on this

honestly i just hate revives because they're stupid as **** lol... .they get lost so easily... but everyone's been going for the whole skele-mancer (summoner) and frankly i just don't see the fun... but i've got a poisonmancer as well as a boner and frankly... they're not all bad, the bonerTongue uses boneshade/shako/vipermagi(too poor to get 'enigma' Sad)/etc.. all +skills/fcr shit basically... he's only lvl 55 right now though lol... but skill-wise i maxed teeth/spear/spirit/prison... but 5 into lower res.. and res going to wall.... by the end of it i'm pretty sure he'll have spirits of 5.5k+ so.... Big Grin

One major flaw is the fact that exile only works for paladins, instead cross out the might merc and get a hell act 2 defense merc, gives u defiance...i dont think ull need might with fanat and so on...
