Secret Cow level question

Ok, im in Hell, ive killed diablo and baal in different games, i have the leg and the tome in the cube, theres 3 scrolls in the tomb and i get "i cant use that yet." Anybody know?

if your trying to open in hell you need to have killed baal in that difficlty too. Are you a patriach or a champion? You can still open in nightmare and normal (you also need the leg from the right difficlty)

have you done cain? I dont remember if that ever effected anything but it might. If you have then you are doing something wrong.


The other thing might be this, try logging out and logging back in, sometimes the game dosent upate properly till you do that.

Is the leg from the game ur trying to open with cause u have to craft with the leg that was from that game your in. Have u ever cowed with anybody else made it cause somebody might have killed the king some u can't make.

Maybe somebody killed king.. yes this is the leg from my game, and cain is saved.

Then You Dont Have Baal Quest Done

yea, thats what i thought... im going to make a new game and get the leg agian.

I just killed baal ... quest has been completed in different game.

this happend to me too with 2 characters when i havent use the cow lvl once but its unusable in nm and another character it dont work in normal.

and it doesnt work for me in hell, whitch completely blows.

a few suggestions to your problem:

1. You have to beat Baal in hell mode
2. Try puting 20 scrolls in the tome...if i don't have 20 in it, sometimes it doesn't work for me
3. You can't use a leg from another difficulty. you must hava a wirt's leg from hell to do the
cow level.

These suggestions should help.......if you still can't make after these, someone must've killed the cow king in hell in another game...sorry

The dead horse of suggestions has been beaten to death here, but have you tried just going into someone elses hell cows? Sucks you can't make it yourself, but it sounds more like a game bug than a lack of you following procedures. I'm at work or I'd offer to hop IG and try it out, but I'm sure you can find one.

u dont need 20 scrolls u just need 1 in it and most likely ur king is dead

i know for a fact that this is not true. i've made portals with a leg from diff games plenty of times

What if you beaten baal on just normal can you still do the cow level? Sorry, I'm just curious to know

Yes u can open the portal for cowruns but only on norm
