i just got the game 2 days ago so stay with me. I have a lvl 19 barbarian but im gonna make sorc for the ranged attacks. I need help as to which sorc to make, I want to be able to run around and not have to aim(hehe..). Ive seen videos where people run around casting white stuff(just started game dunno name) every direction and getting nasty xp and kills. I think its blizzard or ice sorc, but i want it to be good for raising it to a high level not necessarily PvP. Can someone point me in the right direction as to which sorc to make and what skills to lvl up. help plz.

try making a frozen orb sorc
20 ice bolt
20 frozen orb
20 ice mastery
20 glacial spke <------- ur main attack
1 to teleport
a few to static thing
some into armor choose one of the three
also u need a secondary none ice attack for those ice immunes in HELL choose like fire blast

try a blizz sorc... their the best for starting out....
max<<----
blizzard
glacial spike
iceblast
cold mastery
put 1 pt into--->
telekinesis
static
frozen armor
teleport
warmth
the skills needed to activate blizzard
finish by maxing-->
ice bolt to fully synergize blizzard.
as for cold immunes....
**** them.
just use the moat trick and kill mephisto over and over again until he drops useful magic find items.
heres a diagram of the moat trick

basically you lead mephisto over to the moat, then telport far away from mephisto ,across the moat and then you fire blizzard at him until he dies... he cannot hit you. obviously once he dies go and collect your drops...
as for some poor blizz gear, here it is:
helm: +2 to sorc skills circlet... or possibly a peasent crown
armor: vipermagi armor is pretty cheap
weapon: occy is pretty cheap, someone might give you one free
ammy: +2 to sorc skills ammy
shield: lidless, rhyme, or spirit (if your starting on ladder, reccommended)
rings: 2 +10% fcr rings
belt: nightsmoke, goldwrap..... arach or snowclash for later on..
gloves: magefists
boots: low % mf wartravs or just some resist boots
as for the stats
str: enough for your gear
dex: none
vit: all rest
energy: probly 100-150 since your poor
inventory: resist charms that give resistance to a single element...

ya silver thanks im gonna make that that sounds sweet as hell. one more thing, just wondering, what is the spell/attack that shoots ice in all directions cuz thats looks sweet to just run around and spam that on monsters.

1 do u have to aim at each individual monster when using blizzard or do they go everywhere.
2 damagewise frozen orb > blizzard OR blizzard > Frozen Orb

aim at teh centr monster really cause Blizz falls down orb spreads out and blizz=wayyy more dmg than orb

k thanks and also i heard its best to save your skill points till a later level to make a reallyu good character. What level shoould i wait till and what should i upgrade first for blizz sorc.
