This guide is about rushing your character easier (by yourself) by *cough* abusing "glitch rush". I dont think it is appropriate to calling it "glitch rushing" in this guide -because its not really a glitch IMO- but it just makes it easier to understand. So to clear things up, "Glitch" rushing happens if character A in THE ACT TOWN obtains a quest because character B completes the quest. So its not just about the famouse baal g-rush. The whole point of Glitch rushing is to rush a character through hell act 4 chaos sanctuary (diablo's place) to level up very quickly. This is best if you need to level up easily and quickly and not play the whole game since your too lazy to do so.
You can self rush yourself easier if you glitch rush yourself in every act. For example, if someobody gets kills act1 boss andy for quest, your rushee character could also get the quest in act1 town and then that character should be able to proceed into act2.
A great way to do an easy glitchy rush yourself is make a game (for example free rush here). Make sure your rushee(second char) made the game. People will come, chat with them, ask them if they havent complete the required certain quests yet.
Notes:
+Rushee - your (hehe lvl1) character you are rushing that just sits around in town.
+Rusher - your other character (or a friend) that does the rushing.
+ Extra/Other characters - other people that doesnt have the needed quest like your rushee; you are rushing them too and they will get the quest, and so should your rushee in town (and that is glitch rushing all about).
Act 1 Glitch rush:
Rushee stays in town while rusher kills the boss andariel with at least one extra char that doesnt have the quest done yet.
Act2 Glitch rush:
Rushee stills stays in town (better if you stay by the palace so you can talk to jehryn right after). Rusher helps the other characters obtain the quest items (cube, staff, amulet).
Be sure that someone will be responsible to making the horadic staff.
Rusher needs to help the other characters to kill the summoner (rushee doesnt need summoner quest). Rusher kills duriel (of couse with at least one of the extra chars that doesnt have the quest done).
After Duriel does, at least one extra chars should talk to the angel tyrael in duriels tomb. Then the rushee talks to Jehryn and to Meshiff to enter ACT 3!
Oh btw, sometimes the guards wont let you in the palace. The best way to avoid this is to talk to drognan before and after the viper amulet quest (the other char or rushee should be the one talking to drognan).
I forgot to mention about obtaining the cube for the rushee too. In case the rushee forgets to pick up the cube in act2, he can still get it in act3 travincial quest. (LOL Weird)
Act3 Glitch rush:
Im not 100% sure if the rushee needs to participate in travincial for the high council quest. Sometimes if the other players completes this quest, the rushee in town gets the quest too. Just to make sure, rushee will need to partipate in travincial. Just make a portal behind the high council temple and make sure you wont attact any hydras. I forgot to mention if the rushee dies, and not press ESC, he will still get the quest.
Make the rushee talk to cain after getting the high council quest.
Rushee stays in town while Rusher kills mephisto (again- at least one of the extra char ,that doesnt have the quest done, should participate)
Its very covinient to place the portal by the red portal so as soon as the rushee gets the glitched mephisto quest he could easily enter the redportal to act4.
Act4 Glitch rush.
Rushee just needs to stay in town the whole act. Better yet rushee stays by the NPC angel tyreal so he could imidiately enter act5 after diablo dies. Rusher opens each seals and kills the "seal boss". Then just before diablo spawns, rusher opens a portal and at least one of the extra characters should be in that place to get the quest. Rushee enters the red portal after talking to tyrael after diablo dies.
Act5 Glitch rush:
The ancients quest has a character level requirement for each difficulty. It is clvl 25 for normal, 40 for nightmare and 60 for hell. Your objective is to get a baal quest done so youre rushee can go the next difficulty, but in order to reach baal's throne, the ancients quest should be done first. So youll need an extra character that can complete (or has completed) the ancients quest.
Rushee (duh) stays in town, rusher helps somebody compelets the ancients quest (if needed) and kills baal (again with at least 1 extra char). After baal is dead, welcome to teh next difficulty!
"SIDE QUEST" ARE ALSO GLITCH-RUSHABLE. You'll want the important side quest such as: the act1 den of evil and hammer quest, act2 randamant quest, act 3 lan esen's tomb (stat - quest) and jade figurine quest, act4 FORGE(***YOU WILL RECIEVE ONLY ONE RUNE AND DOESNT INCREASE THE CHANCES OF GETTING A HIGHER ONE SO DONT THIS UNLESS YOU WANT THE GEMS***) and izual quest, act5 socket, barbarian (rune quest) and anya quest. Again- meaning your rushee gets this quests sitting in town if someone else gets the quest. Of course the rushee needs to talk to the some of the NPC in town to get the quest rewards.
Anything i forgot to mention post it here and ill upadate.
BTW this guide is more importantly to people who can run 2 or more copies of diablo in a computer. This guide also work if your friend is rushing you too and you are too lazy(or any other reasons![[Image: rolleyes%281%29.gif]](http://d2sector.net/forums/images/smiliesv2/rolleyes%281%29.gif)
) to participate in a quest-> this sitaution happens more if your friend is rushing a bunch of friends and you are the lazy one who just sits in town.
Another thing is there's a little disadvantage involved... Sometimes the extra people will steal your drops which is really gay. Make sure your rusher is a godlike character so the noobs will be afriad to steal your drops. But actually they are less likely to steal your drops because you are actually offering them a free rush, but just in case though.
