Wow, Please Help me with a Summon Druid!!!!
#1
For the life of me, I can't find a summon druid that uses wolves. I DONT WANT ONE FREAKIN MINION, ITS NO FUN!!!

Can somebody post a good build that doesn't drag on and on about balancing points in bears wolves and ravens?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

If you're wondering what type of characters i play, a skelemancer is on the list which is exactly why im so mad about even thinking about the prospect of one minion between me and a raging horde of lightning enhanced/Conviction monsters.

Correct me if i'm wrong, but i wouldnt feel safe with my Godly Zealot in that situation, Especially if MM comes into play, there's pain for you - ES CURSED LE MM AE(Conviction)...
This is where you hope you dont get hit by a charged bolt. This is where you crap yourself, and cry to your mommy, no matter how far away from you she is...

Hmmm.... im not sure what your looking for :S

Best Druid summoner skills is :

20 spirit wolf
20 dire wolf
20 Grizzly bear
20 Heart of Wolverine ... ( More dmg, for you summonings )

Then u have like 20 skills more... u could take raven, or u could take one of the creepers, maybe poison creeper?

If u don't skill spirit wolf, dire wolf and Grizzly bear and heart of the wolverine, your summonings wont be powerfull enough in my opinion

I have no problem with a pure sommoner. Sounds good IMO.

If I were going with that build, I would say i'd put pts into Poison Creeper or maybe solar creeper.

I would use dire wolves for the balance of power and presence, plus thy're friggen pimpin too Smile (eats corpses to go berzerk... whatever floats your boat lolz)

Thanks Proops. Seems like nobody likes pure summon druids

 Sad Poor Frail DruidSad

Keep in mind that ravens add passive resistance for your minions based on its level. Ravens are also good for making annoy factor on monsters and players. However ravens are easely killed my a sorceress frost armor.

Ravens can't be hit at all... I Don't think you sory's FA killed em, i think what happened whas their attack count expired and they poofed...

I've given up on having a good summoner, im gonna try a good rabies druid instead, thanks for the help anyway.

I dont think i explained it enough for you.
Whenever a raven attempts to kit a sorceress Behind her shiver armor(belive on the two other also, they will dissapair. If you dont belive me, then go test it with your friends. I played this game long enough and i have made every sorry char that is possible to make in this game. SO dont come and tell me that i dont have a fundament to talk about that i am talking about.

well you both might be right, ravens dont have any life, defense, etc. cause they dont get hit, they attack their # of times then go away.

perhaps something that attacks the attacker, eg frost armor, thorns etc. make them go away. i wouldnt think so, but if you say it did i'm not going to call you a liar

You really need to calm the hell down. I told you you SORCY'S Frost armor probably didn't kill the raven. IM NOT SURE. IT SAYS THAT RAVENS CAN'T BE HIT, SO IM GOIN OFF WHAT BLIZZARD SAID. IF you're right (I DONT GIVE A DAMN ANYWAY) than good for you, if i'm wrongg, O Well, BUT im just going off of what blizzard says (and i believe THEY'VE been playing longer than you have).

And to quote myself on the topic, highliting key statements -

Ya don't wanna mess with me. I have some serious mental disorders and i can't stand it wehn people stand me up on a topic i'm following solid evidence on.If i were you and i tried it again, i would be removing the "location" part of your profile. Or watch your back better. Or write a will. Or do all 3.

Freedom out, Too mad to post again for a while.

Oh ya, and i will test it.

1. Looks like the only person who needs to calm down here is you. If you cant get that other people know things you diddent know, then this aint the place for you.
2. I dont give a shit if you have "serious mental disorders". Why shoud i care?
3.
Quote:O Well, BUT im just going off of what blizzard says (and i believe THEY'VE been playing longer than you have).
And since blizzard dont have in their discriptions that there are ways to counter raves, that automaticly means there is no way?
4. Giving treaths to other forum members is not something you shoud do. Keep them for yourself. I expect some moderators to ban you for a week, so you can think of what you just sayd.
5. If you shoud manage to track me or find out anything about me, then what? I doubt you would even bother.

To quote the important part so you cant edit it away:

w/e ketaro. The games real screwed up anyway. We all now it. Thats a freakin glitch. Ya i did test, so they poof? why does it matter? Aren't ravens AR based anywaY?

For the Record Keitaro, you were right. I don't honestly care if you're right. Didn't i say that three times now?

By the way, why would one have to worry about a raven hitting you anyway? If they are AR based, few people would actually get hit by them, and if they aren't, the damage is too minimal to even matter.

PS - I'm not banned yet, and i doubt i will be.

Ah, this is an amusing post. Keitaro, who uses his high post count to justify his moronic superiority complex, and Fighta, who uses the base that he has 'severe mental disorders' to frighten the former from posting. :/

Just stick with PrOoOpS advice, but don't expect much out of your Druid.

Nope you are not banned yet. Be happy for it. Treathening people is not a good thing.
Ravens are meant to give resist to bears and wolfes, and also beeing used as a stun factor. Dont matter much since most good people have enough FHR.

And dont come and say that you dont care, because in your posts you prooved the oposite. Even in your last post.

And what exactly are you saying here? That i use my postcount to gain power? When did a postcount ever matter. Does high post count make me right all the time?
Take AlfzZz for example. He have alot of postcount, but he still asks for thing, though he also helps with things.

1) Well, ravens serve more purpose than just to stun, their blind ability is essential for any druid really. For example - when fighting in the Frigid highlands in hell, a smart druid would cast ravens near packs of Burning Dead archers to blind them, therefor removing them from the fight so he can focus on other enemies. They also are quite a pain to retreating/teleporting mosters, as they make them become dumb, and don't move any more due to the fact that they can't see, have been stunned (and thus given an AI pause to force them to reconsider their actions), and are now forced into their natural roaming AI until an attackable comes close enough to them/ they become unblinded.

2) Good point to state that they do add bonuses to resist all, alot of new people don't know that.

3) Who the hell is Zambot? Why would a Postcount mean anything? We both have superiority complexes, lol.

Ah, nice post Zambot, who uses his crappy observation skills and useless advise to provide a completely spam post into a serious "Discussion", which i would like to add, has been resolved.

Oh, ya, that's who zambot is >Sad

I've been making a summoner, and decided, what the heck, i'll go for it. I found him to be effective in hell. I used an editor to test first. I gave him a grande total of +22 all skills (12 (9x summon gcs, Annhi, and Torch) from inventory, 12 from equipment (Jalal's, Mara's, 2x SoJs, Lidless, Dark Clan crusher, "Rain" archon plate)). This put my skills up to 44 in all summons. I Maxed Ravens, Wolves, Grizzly, and HoW. Later on i put a pt in Cyclone armor, and spent my last few points synergizing it with tornado.

I found Dire wolves to be the best early on, but after you start to put points in grizzly, and have the bulk of your +skills on, i switched to Spirit wolves. They managed to remain alive long enough, and actually outperformed my dire wolves. These ppl were mighty powerful, and they had enough presense to keep the enemies off my back. I tested in the WSK lvl 2, and found that they could survive ALOT of Gloam Lightning. Infact, the first time i tested without hacked sorbs/resists and got smacked by a gloam bolt and died. My wolves got hit by 5 more bolts than i did, and they were still alive. Sheesh.

This build is actually quite viable, and, if played the expensive route, can be quite efficient in hell.

Reccommended switch weapon - Perfect Cta (where it matters) with Lidless. This allows us to amp our wolves up EVEN MORE than they already are.

I'm going to *try* to format this character into a guide and PM it to a mod. Thanks for the help, discussion, and arguements (**coughcoughKeitarocoughcough**). Oh ya and Zambot will be added to my signature for the most retarded post I've ever seen.
