what are bots and what are they use for?

bots are programs that run the game while you are away for example.. .a meph bot will run aton of meph runs while you are away from your cpu... and picks up items that you specifiy... however getting caught with a bot can get your cd key permenatly banned
 so be cool and do it manualy
