Check this Screenshot out! I was lagging hardcore in a trade game. Everything else worked cept the color was weird lol.

that's not rare, just restore it after minimizing and it should turn back to normal.

Yup I get that sometimes when I minimize D2 and then bring the window back up. Just alt+tab and come back.

What also works is if You change the graphics, e.g. from 640x480 to 800x600... becomes normal again.
