Im pretty sure lotta pplz kno da answer but i dun cuz im dumb so here it goes. Whats the best merc, wep for that merc and armor and helm

Well im currently Using a Act 2 nightmare Defensive dude He is currently Using Botd Spear Coh Armor and vamp gaze for the helm and it works fine. Current level 93 with fullresists

agreed with alfzz. that is pretty much a solid merc setup, cant go wrong there

Also depends on what you are planning to do with your blizz sorc; if she is for mf and you are doing meph runs with the moat trick (teleporting over to meph, draw him to one side of the moat, then tele'ing back over and going back far enough so he can't attack you but will stay in place, then using blizz) it's not a good idea to even have a merc because your merc will make meph still attack your merc and possibly have the spells hit you.

Other than that, if you are using a merc, I would go with defiance rather than holy freeze because your cold spells will already slow them down, and some extra defense with the defiance never hurts anyone seeing that a sorc usually has low defense. Alfzz's setup with the gear sounds good to me; if you don't need the dr from vamp gaze then you can go with an eth andy's. Also, a lot depends on if you are ladder or non and stuff like that; if your NL then you won't be able to make a fort and will have to go with something else.

What's the best merc in act 2 hell for a summoning necro? I'll be using the necro for Uber Trist, and the Uber Bosses. Also, what gear for the merc is good? I can't afford a botd, so name something else please.

if u get an act 3 fire merc, Using hexfire that adds 3 to fire skills, helps him do more damage. I think thats the only +skills weapon good huh? Skills weapons dont help merc much your right.
