Infinity merc weapon must pair excellently to a Sorc due to conviction Aura. It also gives -45 to -55 lightning resistance to enemies which must be for the chance to cast lvl 20 Lightning it also has.

My question is that does this as a merc weapon double as resistance reduction for a lightning sorceress from the aura AND - lightning resist mode? Do the negative resistance modes from one person nerf the monster for just that one person or everyone (even people not in the party)? That would tear monster's lightning resistance in shreds if so.

I'm pretty sure the -lite res is just for the chain lightning that the merc can cast. :blank:

Actually im thinking it works like the nv state on an item in open or single and its passive but i could be wrong

xqs_me, are you saying that the - lightning resist mode takes down enemy light resist even farther for my sorceress as well?

yep i believe it does as well, not much stays resis to light if you gotta light sorc with infinity on merc
