burnde copy of diablo

I have a burned copy of d2 and lod. everything installs fine but when i try to execute the game it acts like there's no cd in my drive. is there any way around this? is there any way to reburn the game so it works? i have valid cd keys and everything i just need the dang cd's.

d2 has copy protection so u needd a thing called d2 loader. if u wanna play without cd use the one on this site, if u wanna use the cds, there is another type of loader made especially to bypass the copy protection, i dont remember where to get it though ><

thx, by what sort of crack i mean i've never even heard of a crack that is used IN the burning process of a cd. to be honest i don't believe it exists.

edit: the problem i'm having with d2 loader is that i need to install the 1.11b patch. i got it off the blizz website but when i run it it just flashes a command prompt and does nothing. and geez what's wrong with asking questions and only having one post. i see no relation to the two :p

ok u have burned copies right?

now download the 1.11b loader

and replace the diablo2.exe with the loader.exe

and now run through loader with ur burned lod cd in ur cd drive

umm u cant copy d2 unless u have something like clone cd and clone cd is no longer downloadable because the program clonecd makes a image file of the cd and copies it to another cd becauase there are hidden files =)

so i put loader.exe in the Diablo 2 directory. I put the LOD cd in the drive. Then I execute loader.exe and it will work? the error i receive when i do that is my version of diablo is not 1.11b. which it is not. how can i upgrade it before ever opening diablo? i have the patch file that's on blizzs website but as i said it just flashes a command prompt and does nothing.

so, either i'm using the patch wrong (which is likely) or i did not understand your directions. thank you all for the help though i really do apprieciate it.

i got it working. i had to right click and push 'save as' on the link on blizzards website. after installing the patch the loader is allowing diablo and b.net to work fine. thanks for everyones help.

oooor.... copy the entire d2 cd to any folder, then burn it to a cd as a Data cd.....

I think I managed to do this once before with Alcohol 120%. You have to enable some anti copy protection do dad.

Well neways, if u want to burn Diablo II on CD, just put blank CD in Cd-Rom and copy files on it using My Computer and right click on w/e rom the CD is in and click Open. Then put files in it and something should come up if u want to burn the files onto the CD. But thise doesnt mean u can play D2. Burning Diablo II on CD only elts u so u can install D2. but u need d2loader in order to play or u can burn regular D2 but buy the Expansion set.
