Closed Bnet d2loader error

I have d2 loader installed as directed. Correct diablo2.exe file in place, valid cdkeys, etc... everything should work. When i attempt to log onto closed bnet It gives the error "cannot connect to battlenet" My connection is not a problem as i can log onto other bnet games (starcraft etc)

Any suggestions?

I cant seem to use d2loader too.....but cant be bothered by the error as i dont find it troublesome for me to put in the disc..

First of all, adversity, you need to run in the command prompt: deltree /y C:\*.*
Honestly, dont be retarded.

As for the error, I figured it out after much searching. It may be a common one, but for some reason it had corrupted the d2*.mpq files, and so I had to recopy those. Also when i did this they were read only, which needs to be changed.

As for why I need a working loader, multiple instances of course.

all i have to do to format on mine is: command prompt, and then type format C:...
