Magic find is only a %, the chances of finiding a rune or extremely rare item are sometimes about .3 % on even the best of monters. Still a low chance. Patience is the key, plus monsters are nurfed to have less a chance to drop seeing how the bots ruined this game.

Ok i have been mfing off and on for 4 years now and ill tell you this is my theory. ok i had around 800+ mf and i would find stuff the first few runs then i would not find anything after so i lowered my mf to 400 then i started finding again now from what i hear if you cant get you mf over 1k then it dosent need to be above 400mf also it depends on the char like for instance take a hammer pally you can find awsome stuff with only 150 mf on them but if you have more you find less its werid i mean if you read dyna guide to mf that might help you alittle. but try lowering you mf down to like 300 or start at 150 and increase it little by little till you start finding stuff. hope this helps. but i find the best thing is to do is get a crap load of gold and gamble me and my freind gamble 2/20/20 pally circlets etc and sell them for good stuff. my buddie once got 2x bug coh for a 2/20/20/20 he gambled in 1.10 patch

How many runs have you done? Try using a bot and leaving it on overnight, you should always wake up to at least one decent item.
