I have heard people saying that they have gotten their sorc to like 900+ mf and i heard that you have to have high mf to do pindle and get good stuff from him. so was wondering what gear does this sorc use if its possible. And is if a cold, light, or fire sorc?

Im sure it is possible to get 900+ mf (40 7mfsc=280 + 6isted sword=180 +4 isted shield=120 + skulders +ptopaz=125 or more) just that is over 700, throw in an occ, and tal's set and yer up close to 900, but that gear:
for one, is very hard to get
two, very hard to kill with
three, just overkill
you really only need around 400mf to be very effective at finding items, and you still have lots of killing power there

dont worry about getting 900 mf, shoot for 300-500 and you will have plenty. after like 450 or something the benefits start to drop off greatly

i doubt that those numbers are correct, but i think the key to finding good items is having about 350 mf, and being over level 86. the higher lvl my mfer gets the better she seems to find.
also please try to spell check yourself...

Without any doubt, more mf = more items found. However, like somebody pointed out, if You can't kill anything with it, it's more useful to cut down a bit...
