Fun and Easy to play Mods here!
#1
After the past day, I have found a couple of mods that might interest you guys, Terran Doom, Zerg Doom, and Doom Dragoon, they totally change the experience of gameplay, depending on which one you pick of course. These mods were taken from Starcraft.Org

Zerg Doom (1.13)

Here's a list of the changes:

Drone
- Faster movement
- Long range, low damage suicide attack. Drone travels across all terrain when attacking, but is a ground unit for everything else.

Zergling
- Slightly higher health
- Attack bonus towards infantry units
- More aggressive attacks
- Uses cosmic puke attack randomly - sends out green stuff a short distance in front of the Zergling that hurts everything that it touches.
- Sometimes will jump during attacking for more power.

Hydralisk
- More aggressive attacks
- Sometimes uses a flamethrower which makes the Firebat's flamethrower look like a total embarassment
- Randomly uses the Tornado spin attack at short range

Ultralisk
- More aggressive attacks
- Tasmanian devil attack where the Ultralisk charges into its enemy, trampling it and (usually) crushing it to death.

Lurker
- Electro-spines
- Spines no longer travel in straight lines

Broodling
- Randomly uses the "Spawn Broodling" attack

Defiler
- Short range multi-spell attack
- If you plague an area, it stays plagued for a little while. Anyone who walks in the area again will be plagued.

Infested Terran
- The infested terrans have an amazing graphical effect to their attack. You have to try them to see why. Let's just say once you see the infested terran explode you'll know that nukes are for kids.

Mutalisk
- Multiple attacks.
- Weapon now ignores enemy armor completely.

Guardian
- Acid spores leave acid on the ground. The acid hurts anything that touches it for a while until it disintegrates.
- Acid spores now ignore enemy armor completely.

Devourer
- Short range psionic shockwave weapon.
- Corrosive acid now bounces.

Queen
- Now becomes one of the main detection and scouting units
- Parasite can be done at any range

Scourge
- Modified attack with different graphics to make it ranged.
- Less health, but launches its attack at a greater distance.
- Can attack ground.

Overlord
- Much faster

Terran Doom (1.13)

Marine - Scatters bullets and fires grenades at random

Firebat - Now uses rockets in addition to its flame thrower that damage everything they touch between the firebat and a range of 6 matrices. A bit like the lurker you could say.

Ghost - The Ghost is now the secret agent that it should be. He can lock down anything, silently kills small infantry units in one hit from long range, is able to blow up buildings instantly when he stands next to them, and of course, his nuke is a lot cooler.

Vulture - Sends fragmentation grenades scattering at the enemies. Now the grenades have a bit of a splash explosion, with slightly different graphics. The vulture also parasites its enemies randomly.

Siege Tank - In tank mode, the tank can attack even while it is moving. It now uses a missile-type weapon in tank mode. Not much has changed about siege mode, it just hurts a little more and doesn't hurt your own units now. I was thinking about making the transformation from siege mode to tank mode and the other way round a lot faster, but I decided not to.

Goliath - Can attack while moving (try walking away and shooting an enemy, it's funny.) Anti-air missiles now send out shockwaves of damage.

Wraith - Burst lasers really do mean burst lasers now. Great against small units, not so good against larger units.

Science Vessel - Irradiate has had its graphics changed slightly and damage slightly increased.

Battlecruiser - Yamato cannons hurt everything that touches them, and they travel past their target. Try it out, it's fun.

Valkyrie - Fascinating ground weapon made out of the corsair's neutron flare.

Dragoon Doom (1.13)

Zealot - Attacks a lot more aggresively, has an idle animation and a stunning spinning shockwave attack that occurs at random.

Dragoon - Now attacks with multiple scattered phase disruptor shots, and if it is attacking an enemy at melee range, it will do a jump attack.

Dark Templar - The attack of the Dark Templar now launches a bouncing semi-transparent energy ball, and at random the Dark Templar will do its Psionic Vortex attack, which sends a swirl of energy forward to damage everything in its path.

High Templar - Psionic storm now hurts buildings but not your own units (silly huh?) and the high templar has an annoying parasite attack too.

Archon - When the archon attacks, it just concentrates on its target and constantly applies damage without getting up for a breath of air like usual.

Reaver - The reaver gets to be a lot faster, and its scarab weapon attacks in a slightly different manner, causing greater damage and wider splash.

Scout - Shoots rapid bursts and causes a lot more pain.

Corsair - Has a ground attack just for fun.

Arbiter - The cloaking field range is much larger now, and the Arbiter's weapon is very powerful, even though it takes ages to reload.

Carrier - Interceptor's pulse cannons now scatter to hit everything around the target.

Photon Cannon - Let me just say you wouldn't want to mass hydralisks or do that marine and medic thing anymore.
