One organisation???
#1
I recently saw an add for this one organization, it where these celebs talk about not spending money recklessly, that just irratates me these people saying we must'nt spend or money recklessly, because it impacts the poor countries(such as in Africa) badly.

They are ones to talk i mean the top 225 richest people in the world are richer than the rest of the world, they are the ones spending money recklessly with there fancy cars and houses, exactly where do they get of.

Your views please.

Jessica Simpson is probably in that group.
I think that's a stupid orginization, if all they talk about is not spending money recklessly, what's the point of it? They're not helping Africa by saying to not spend recklessly, even when they spend 250,000$ on Cars and such. Take a few celebs for example (Snoop Dog) He spent 2 million on his freaking cars, It just goes to show you how Millionares/Trillionares can be assholes.

But thats my point they are preaching to stop reckless spending of money and they are the best at doing it

Where did you read about this anyways?

Not to sound like a total retard, but if Rich People all gave 10% of what they made to relief efforts in other Countries, there'd probably be ALOT less poverty in Africa, Katrina would go faster, and so on.

Millionaires aren't assholes. Assuming that the money has been made legally, they've got all the right to spend it the way that they see fit. Also, remember that people like Snoop Dog are made rich by You, people, because You keep buying his records, going to his concerts etc.

Damn, I got proved wrong. Oh well.

But seriously, consider what I said in my last post, It'd probably be true.

Yes, but seriously... There is no way that these people would give up the money that they made... This is a story of a family, the Warburgs, I believe that are also in that world's top 200. I don't know whether it's true or not, but it goes as:

1814, Napoleon has overthrown Louis XVII and resumed his post as the Despot of France. The allied countries said that Napoleon isn't tolerated as the ruler of France in any shape or form, so they all attack. Napoleon understands that in order not to be overthrown by the inside, from within France, he needs to bring victorious peace as he had done many times before with his military genius, so he invades Belgium and faces the British and Prussian armies there. Had he won, he would have reestablished himself as the ruler of France, if not of Europe, however he did lose.
Now this guy Warburg had a messanger at the battle, who brought news of the allied victory before the official messanger, so he spreads a rumor that Waterloo has been lost, so the prices of the shares of Banl of England drop radically, so he buys the entire bank for the price of a sandwich (equivalent). I really don't know whether this is true or not, but You couldn't imagine such a guy giving away 10% of his money, could You?

Anyway, guys I'm going to sleep... It's 03:10 a.m., so good night. I hope to continue this tomorrow.

asking a rich person to part with their money is like asking slimp to give up his cake.

Very definition of hipocrisy.

Celebrity: "Don't spend money recklessly, it'll hurt some African you've never met."

Me: "But big millionaire celebrity, you spend hundreds of thousands of dollars making sure your **** look firm and you're currently wearing millions in useless diamonds."

Celebrity: "Uh... Anyways, don't spend money recklessly, people. Listen to me, I have more money than you'll ever see and I'm still stupid as a ****ing telephone pole, so that must make me important and right."

did you know most millionares arent the people you see on tv shaking their fake @ss? most of the millionares in our country live next door to you, drive their old cars, and eat the same food as you do. they work hard, spend little, and save a lot. they deserve every penny they get

now people like paris hilton...

i think we should take all her money and give it to katrina victims and throw her skinny @ss in a lake

Not always true. I live in a neighborhood of mostly very high priced homes. Almost everybody is a millionaire. Most are down to earth people. Not assholes.

2 No one single person is a trillionare. Billionaire is what you want to say.

Frater stated it fairly simply, if you don't want snoop to be a millionaire or any of his other fellow rappers with their pointless bling and fancy cars. Start an orginazation to boycott their things.

3. instead of the lame idea for only rich people to give a lot of money, i think it would be wiser for all banks to give out the money that would go to interest in the peoples accounts for 1 month. For each person it's not that much, but out of 2-3 billiob people, that's a lot of money. It wouldn't be federal money either. More of a temporary, very small tax.

Think of it this way, the population of the western world is much richer than the population in the thirld world or in LEDC to be politically correct. People in the places like India look at avarage tourists as if they were millionaires. How would you feel if you suddenly had to give away 10% of your money or net wealth?

I think the term rich almost sounds racist Big Grin
maybe a better term would be "people with options"

That's probably the dumbest thing i've heard, are you saying that people who aren't millionaires can't be assholes?

Well that's because Dennis Leary is an as$hole-eoleole-eoleole, he's an as$hole-eoleole-eoleole-eoleole..

But really, I don't care. As long as that song is still funny and Rescue Me is still a good series, he can eat babies for all I care, he's still cool.

This is the flame wars section, leave your sensitive side at the door. poor=poor, rich=rich, midgets aren't people of short stature, etc.

Ok man, let's do it properly then, because it is flame wars, right?

Screw all the rich people, poor people, and people with no money!!!111 Rich people should stop doing things that make them rich, because otherwise we're going to threaten them with... with... FLAME!!! mad:

Is that suitable for the section now?

Me being sensitive? The fact that I mentioned the words “rich people sounds racist” has nothing to do with sensitivity. It's more to do with the rules of the forum e.g. no racist comments, etc.

In a court of law it's not always the words that count, what is meant by them also counts and I feel that in this topic is taking the route towards flaming rich people just because they are rich and you aren't.

the way is see it is people who have to save everypenny to be rich should keep there money but people who earn by our money ssuch as paris hilton or jlo's 2 million dollar *** should donate to organisations which jlo does
