Dual Channel RAM?

I believe its, 4 slots for the Ram sticks. My computer only has 2 slots which dosent make it a dual channel....

You must have 2 chips of the EXACT same brand and model. And basically they just work together and increase speeds.

Typically you SHOULD buy a dual channel RAM kit. Those are the kits that come with two sticks of RAM and are usually labeled dual channel themselves.

Maybe. If you have both chips, go ahead and try it, but i wouldn't purposefuly buy two differnt ones and expect it to work.

I already have it set up as Dual Channel and was just wondering if it would work or not... I'll just keep it how it is.

umm try it with non dual and see if speeds are faster (most likely the dual will be faster) and use the faster setting
