Hey, I was trying to look on the internet on how to make a .gif, but theres nothing really that explains it. Could someone tell me what program i need? And all that jazz... Maybe where to get it in case i dont have it... (I have a feeling the only way ill be able to make a gif is with photoshop, and i dont have it.. so yah...) Thanks much.

Adobe ImageReady [Comes with Photoshop] would be a great way to start. If you can get it, read up on some basic tweening tutorials.

It should automatically save as a gif if you add anything in Imageready, but if not, just go to save file type, and click .gif

up to $600, or you could do what I did, and go to www.adobe.com and download the free trial version for a month to see if you like it.

It's not cheap by any means. i would recommend the trial version before you buy it.

took me about 20 minites-ish on a cable LAN. Depends on your computer and connections, leave it on downloading tonight. Be sure to alos hit up some places like DA and font downloads to, defaults=noob.

30 day trial. If you add me to MSN I can give you a copy of PS 7 that includes ImageReady, and maybe give you some pointers.

theres alotta cracks for photoshop cs2 out there... i doubt d2s allows links to them though

at any rate, gifs can be made with good ol' paint.. unless ur talkin about animations
