I don't think democracy applies to tyrant dictators.

the us would lose more killing saddam than keeping him alive
if you were the us government, which would you have?
forcing the meek ex dictator out of his hiding place and parading your victory around?
or
secretly killing him but telling the media and the citizens that you cant find the dictator you started a war to find

When they kill him, I hope they behead him with a pocket knife. Slow and painful, like the videos of the murdered western hostages.

Folks.... I'm not denying hes a bad guy.... but we shouldn't have him in the first place. SHoulda found bin laden who is still on the loose. Seriously, how does that make sense? Some dude blows our sh*t out, and hes still free. But some other old dude who was enemies with our presidents daddy is behind bars, and he is made out to be the ultimate badguy. Listen folks, our president is a retard. Straight up.

That, although it may be just, would never happen because of the rules on handling prisoners of war in the Geneva Convention I believe it was. They should've held the trial in texas. Death row, meet saddam, he'll be rooming with you for a little while.

personally i think they should take him around back and put a 5.56 in him then slice his body up and ship a piece to every country that hes ever commited crimes against. if they dont though, if they put him in a reguler prison i think he will be killed before he even gets to his cell for the first time, hell be walking through the corridor and they'll grab him and slice his throat with a shiv.
