Guinness takes it for me, Not only is it good, but you can always watch the beer as it comes out of the tall Can. (Well, I don't anymore, but when my dad used to get it when I was a kid I used to love watching it) BRILLIANT!!

ya know, i'm white trash from arkansas and i've never had natural ice. now i'll drink the hell out of some generic coors (keystone light). Bud Light and Budweiser became popular simply because of the marketing. thats it. anyone who really enjoys beer knows the difference between real beer and cheaply made american beer I.E. budlight, busch light, well pretty much anything made by anheuser busch. Coors and Coors light are the best tasting cheap american beer (k its not cheap by some standards but you get where i'm going) simply because of the whole frost brewing concept. an iced down coors light is ALWAYS more refreshing than an iced down bud light. As for olde english i've yet to try it i may get me a 40 next time i have some cash. i heard that for a cheap beer its not that bad and it'll get ur *** drunk quick. and for Slimp. this is a quote from a famous cartoon "Children... there's a time and a place for everything, and its called college..."

OH and i agree people should be slapped for enjoying corona. i LOVE beer and i can take a sip of corona and it tastes like a skunk pissed out all its stink juice and fermented it for about a month and bottled it. bleh

I'm drinking Blue Moon right now, actually. It's really tasty. I'd so love some Sierra Nevada right now, but I don't have the money, unfortunately.

The ONLY time I drink Natty lite is when I'm at a kegger. Even then, about half of the time the keg beer of choice isd Pabst Blue Ribbon(spelling?)

I perfer Blue Ribbon over Natty, but it's all good. As far as Bud haters, I'm not a fan of any light beer Budweiser makes, but I will drink Budweiser original in the tallboy and enjoy it. Can't stand Bud Select or any light version thereof.

I'm like an alcohol connaisseur, and i'm pretty proud of it.
I like to consider myself a social and intellectual drunkard, but some people would just consider me a flat out drunk. It's all good, though.

drinking when your that young is just plain dumb IMO. i didnt drink till i was 18 because i knew i wasnt mature enough to handle it. and i was/am mature for my age. looking back i think it was a good decision...maybe i should have waited even longer

Alcohol is fine in moderation IMO. I'm not telling anyone to go drink beer, but if you want to chase inebriation, pick the lesser of the evils.

i'm a beer guy thats for sure, i just never have the money to spend on the good stuff. and stuff like guinness and sam adams dark beers thats a mans beer. drink you some cowboy cold guiness and by god if you weren't yet a man before it you will be after it. I use a good sam adams to chase my whiskey cuz i'm not a big fan of whiskey unless its crown. but sam adams black lager and scotch ale and cream stout, those are some mighty tasty beers. And sam adams just released its Sam Adams Light that was the only american beer to win the best taste award at a german beer convention. Also another quick story about sam adams, about 4 months ago I was chillen at work and my room mate calls me up and says "how fast can you get to Jim Smith Towing?" and i was like well i can be there in 10 minutes. so i get there and apparently a semi carrying an entire trailer full of Sam Adams Summer Ale was involved in an accident and caught fire so the trailer was condemned. so i loaded my truck down with the lightly scorched boxes (the beer was untouched and shipped hot so the heat didn't ruin it) so we made it home with a grand total of 193 bottles of VERY EXPENSIVE sam adams summer ale. (it was the last shipment of that beer ever.) and we drank every one of them

kool-aid and anything is a bad mix. especially if that anything happens to be a religion devilish:

plus i've heard rumors that sugar is one of the many causes of a bad hangover (hints: rum and coke is not as good as it sounds).

gin is not my prefered drink (not that there's anything wrong with it i just prefer other liqour). if i drink any kind of liqour it's always straight and ussually chased with water, if anything. but i prefer good ol' capt morgan or whiskey. there's some whiskey that comes with a lemon in it in a small bottle for $4 (i don't recall the brand). but it's the perfect cure for the flu. my bro who's an ex-bartender told me about it, i thought he was full of it. so i got the flu one time and he comes over with a bottle of it. suprisingly it worked quite well. i felt better the next day.

as far as age and what not. i got drunk my first time when i was 14 my friends dad caught us drinking a beer. and he being a good father in a different kind of sense told us he had something better (VODKA!!) his plan was to give us a brutal hangover. and it worked sick: . i didn't drink agian until i was 16 (so it didn't work for very long confused: )
i guess first impressions do make a difference after all.

but i think as long as your going to be doing something for a buzz. it might as well be alcohol. it's looked at in a lighter sense (when compared with other things) in the eyes of the law and the people. though it's very stupid to start drinking it as young as i did.
some people can handle it some can't. i know about 5 people who've never touched a drink in their entire lives until they were 21. now they drink more than i do. so i guess it's a matter of having an addictive personality and some people say it's genetic (though i'm not sure if i believe that too much), having an addictive personality might be genetic but i find it hard to swallow that alcoholism has it's very own genetic code rolleyes: . /end useless crap rant


INTERESTING FACT: i was looking through my guinness world record book and the strongest beer out there is:

"samuel adams triple bock" brewed in Boston with 17.5% alcohol (more than most wines)

and "Baz's super brew" brewed in england has an alcohol volume of 23% but is very rarely brewed today.

Coopers Brewery produce a range of Ales,Stouts are Lagers.
Our ale range is brewed by a method of top fermentation, originating in the Middle Ages. Coopers uses only natural ingredients including malt, hops, sugar, water and a special yeast strain that's over 90 years old. Coopers do not use preservatives or chemicals in their ale range.
Coopers also produce Stout and Lager beers. The Lager beers are bottom fermented in cooler conditions, matured for a short period and pasteurised.

In my opinion, beer is for bums. I haven't drunk it for like a year now. Whenever I drink, I only have wine (with mealtimes) or Vodka (when I'm drinking). It's not a bad choice, since my country does produce some of the best Vodka in the world.

When I did use to drink beer, my favourite used to be "Desperados".

It's not the sugar that gives You a hangover, but the methanol. The fewer times the alcohol's been distilled, the larger the methanol content. Unlike it's brother ethanol, which gives You the drunken feeling, methanol is a deadly poison which could eventually make You go blind. Some vodkas out there have been distilled more than 10 times, however the best result is achieved after about 5x distillation (then the flavour is added and different filters such as ash and charcoal are used).

You think that Vodka destroys Your liver? Well, most beers can achieve the same effect in the same time. Vodka also tastes so much better (personal opinion).
