thats why the stuff's illegal here. the wormwood thats used in it is causes hallucinations and can lead to insanity. but i'd still like to try some if i could get my hands on it.

I drank 0.2 litres of absinth when I was on Ibiza... That pretty much sorted me out for the evening. My brother had to be hospitalized the year before because of absinth... He drank loads and got hallucinations etc... He said that even when he had already fallen to the floor, he had to hold on to it, because otherwise he would have fallen off laugh:. He was allright the next day though. Oh, yes, it was the real absinthe (with arsenic). Estonia used to be one of the world's largest producers of absinthe before we entered the EU and they banned it.

since you've had it, what kinda taste does it have? does it have its own unique flavor or is it comparable to any other kind? being green it kinda sparks the interest.

I like many strong alcohols, but I have to admit that absinthe tasted like raw @$$. It really is unpleasant. I recommend trying it once or so, so that You can say that You did, but I certainly wouldn't drink it at leisure. It tastes exactly like a plant with a high ethanol content.

but just for the record i would choose a karona with a lime twist.

sake is meant to be served warm. and MOST beer is brewed in a clean environment and it tastes pretty damn good so i'm not worried about it.

Beer comes from Hops (Which is a plant, Fuggle is actually a type of Hops) And then it is brewed and distilled sometimes. Its not **** water.
Also it's Corona. You must not have ever had the drink.
