How much you bench
leg presses are kinda jokes........like 800 is nice but try a 800 pound box squat and see how that goes
You said so much without ever parting your lips.

I have to carry around a lot of weight every day... what can I say. I biked for hours a day when I was a kid... did a lot of running. My legs are massive.

Now, when I say I can leg press 800lbs, I don't mean comfortably. I can do maybe 4 or 5 reps before my back starts to die.

i once leg pressed 850 pounds 10 times fairly easily. my squat max was 515 before i fractured a vertebrae.

i can bench 200 pounds a comfortable 30 times, leg presses are crazy, ive maxed out the stack plus another 200 pounds (925 pounds total) as ive been playing soccer my entire life and my legs are massive, squats i can do 725 pounds 10 time fairly easily, i mainly keep it around 3 sets of 30 reps at 500 pounds for regular workouts, also ive been playing football my entire highschool career (starting linebacker) so i pay alot of attention to my arms and shoulders as well, my max for military press is around 185 and for curls 100 50 pound reps 1 set before moving triceps i do 50 30 pound reps 1 set

i dont believe you. 200 pounds 30 times is like a 400+ bench press. theres no way you can do that much at 17 years old unless you are on major steroids. according to that weight you've also got like a 1200 pound squat. no way you can do more than half a ton at 17. besides that fact, your leg press and your squat contradict each other. 925<1200 and leg press is way easier than squat. also soccer players do not get that huge. my car doesnt even weigh 1200.

i just started working out. i only do curls atm and i'm scrawny so hopefully i'm gonna bulk up a bit. i'm 6' 1"ish probably 135-145 pounds(i have no idea about myself lol). idk what i could sqaut but i'm on the track team so i probably have fairly strong legs.

to spam?

your not going to bulk up doing curls...if you want big arms make sure you work your triceps. if you want big legs you HAVE to squat, there is no alternative. do stuff like dumbell flys and dumbell bench if you want to get a big chest. its all about the military press/push press and power cleans if you want some big shoulders.

are you in track/cross country?

@blood, all i have is a curling bar. i'm not really looking for developing something specificly, just more like raw upperbody power. all i have is a curling bar and weights so i can't do some of those things you mentioned. i also forgot to mention i do push-ups too if that helps.

hell, you can do plenty with a curl bar. you can lay down on your back and do triceps with it, you can do overhead presses with it, you could even do some close grip bench...and yes push ups will help, but they can only go so far. be creative, but be safe. get as many ranges of motion as you can.

yeah i also forgot to mention do overhead presses too. i do about 100curls per arm and plan on steadily increasing the weigth(when i got it there were a lot more weights than im using on it now lol). i try to work out when i come home(2:30,my bus is slow lol) and again at like 8-9ish when i'm rested again.

I was in a weight lifting class in High School. My senior year I was hitting 235. I haven't seen a set of free weights since I moved to Tampa. In the complex I am staying at they have what they consider a gym but it is all mechanical, no free weights. I guess it has to do with kids going in there and hurt/killing themselves. Anyway, soon as my truck gets down here, I need to go hit a gym. I heard about a Golds Gym down here somewhere near. Anyway, all I have been doing in pushups, situps, and the mechanical in the complex gym. I don't know how much I can bench now but I know it probably isn't near to what I was doing.
You can run....but you'll just die tired.
