Is it O.K. to revive old threads now? Because I see a ton, I mean a ton of old threads being revived. Mostly it's being done by new members, but I'm not seeing warnings. If it is O.K. now let me know please, there are a lot of old threads I'd like to reply to. Just curious, thanks.

Any old threads that are revived, I close and give a warning to the reviver (assuming I see the thread.) No, it is not ok to revive old threads. It's your responsibility to check the date before posting.

I actually knew that it is a no-no, I was kind of just trying to bring it to the attention of the mods.

I'll see about modding the forums so they give you a message "this topic is old. you should consider making a new thread instead" yada yada and not let a person post.. Like before :p

is there any way to put a timer on a thread so that if it goes unanswered for say, 2 weeks, it will auto close? kinda like the polls do.
