This is my first sig with cs2. I used to use elements and it straight sucked compared to this. Give me some advice on what I could improve or change to make better.

It's aight. The text is a bit big, and the border is somewhat funky, but good job overall. 6/10. How do you guys do the animation???

the kermit de frog is ok....the render isnt blended with the colors you should have put kermit under your color balance layer and dont like the text very much also your pyrocrow is stickin over the border. other than that its good. 6/10

Edit: for the animation...this is what i would do.

1 make the sig or pic what ever you want.
2 save a jpg (somthing that dont save in layers)
3open it back up and use your lasso tool to select what you will animate.
4use effect such as glow or graidiant or what ever and keep making layers and put them close tohether but not overlapping eachother.
5if satisfyed on how it will turn out save as gif animation.
6go to folder rightclick preview.

big death not bad text is to big though and u need to get more brushses from deviant 5/10

night also 5/10 bruhsing is ok but the sig looks to busy

pyro its not bad but u not going forward with your sig making for some reason 6/10

sarevok not bad to plain and brushing is not that good 5/10 try changing
some of your brushing layers to overlay, colour doge and so on...

I never liked outer glow.
And especially with default colors.


Seems to me u only changed with colors.

Uve been doing gfx for a long time so i'd say all those

It's extremely basic, butI like it, plus it's my first.

And FM, I can't seem to progress because I haven't developed a style nor have I discovered much of photoshops hidden secrets. Plus, I have yet to see a tutorial on how to manipulate just a certain part of a sig.

here was my orginal manip but i did the other one(with a cheesy darken on the sky) because u can't see the sky on my orginal manipulation

Thanks for the imput yall. As I become more familiar with the new functions and get more brushes youll see better work from me. Well anyway Frogman I like the stonehenge its simple but cool so I'd give 7/10
sarevok I like the hitman sig i give it a 7/10 but the other one the background looks a bit blurred but other than that its pretty decent 6/10

FM- that sig is pretty unique. I don't like the pixel wave effect. But otherwise, it looks sweet. 8/10

sarevok its not bad its blended to much 6/10 i think with your brushing to many of your layers are set to soft light blend mode
