The outlines were different, yet looked similar when the tutorial images were made smaller. Dannation's outlines were darker than the tutorial.

Also the hair and the eyes on Dannation's are really messy looking unlike the tutorial. Eyelashes on Dan's cross each other's while the tutorial's go straight out.

If not then sorry, your remake of it seemed alot like the one used in the tutorial.

yeah i dont rip. ive never riped. warn all you want. if anyone has doubts that i drew this in corespondence with the tutorial on deviant art then they can get the PSD from me. i know it looks similar. that was the point of doing the tutorial.
people making acusations need to check on these things before they say someone is ripping. being wrongly accused of ripping is not only an insult but a lack of research on El Matts part. im sure if you take the final product on deviant art and lay it over my final product you would obviously see that NONE of it lines up with the other one.

better yet .. here is a compairison for you. look at them closly . notice the differences in the eye shape. notice the differences int the lines of the eyelid . notice the differences of the clouds in they eyes . notice the deviant art eye has hard lines on the moon and stars. it was done with a hard brush. mine was done with a soft brush. like i said.. NOTICE THE DIFFERENCES.

can you take the original and do that too Death? prolly not huh. thats all the layers except for the background fill color.
blatent similarites go blatently with the tutorial which i stated i followed. sounds like a backhanded apologie to me. if it even is one.

First one. Good colors, not liking scanlines

I like the second one, since it isn't covered in scanlines and stuff. The colors on it work well and blend with each other.

Third one blends well, don't really like the background waves and such.

Fourth is just plain, too much desaturation.

Five is good too, but once again, not digging the scanlines.

chicken- you're improving a lot. I like the background, but it's still monotonal and the tesxt needs work. I don't like the lighting on the render either.

Yeah pyro I agree with fm on the text on your name. also you sould gradient your glow to the colors of the render maybe on the text. It kinda looks out of place. 6/10

Hold shift when resizing a render, than it will keep its shape and look good, not distorted.
