D3 Rumors

Ok I decided to put this topic here because it seemed appropriate. Well ok so i have been hearing a lot of rumors of D3, and it being an MMO. Now can anyone verify this? Did anyone go to blizz con? Supposedly the rumors started there.

No. Those rumors have been out for so long. There, at the moment, are inactive plans on a D3. But it won't come out for a long time.

Blizz anounced a long time ago they where planning on starting the D3 production in 2006. Knowing Blizzard and how they hold out games forever, I would'nt expect much for a while.

There is no announcement on D3. To get D3 working, Blizzard would neeed skilled employees back to help create D3. And i the making of D3 would start, im sure Blizzard would annouce it on their site

Again, Currently Blizzard is working on World of Warcraft and to be their next game, Starcraft: Ghost. And that they will be also working with Guild Wars, there will be no chance to start with D3 since theres 3 major projects Blizzard is heading against. D3 rumors may still be around like this 1 quote about D3 from a BAttle.Net moderator named MicahW:

They told places like EBgames that they will start working on it in 2006, this is fact, I know because it was on their lists for 2006 releases. If it is not anymore, it is because all the good workers went to NCsoft. As you said.

Well have you noticed blizzard is doing massive hireing. could it be that they are doing this to support several projects at once and release games a little faster?

I wasn't there but I heard they annouced at BlizzCon that they were in the process of making Diablo III. Who cares anyways, game is getting old. They need to not make new ones.rolleyes:

we might all die of old age before we see d3 but if they do release it which i hope they do, because this will revitalize a stale franchise also i really hope it wont be pay to play because that could kill it off before it got started

Well when i was playing D2 and a guy *claimed* his dad was working for blizzard, and he said in the Release of D3 (if it comes) will contain Meph, Baal, Diablo Etc. in some kind of robotic form. i find this to be a load of
bull...ony, but u never know what blizz could do. 2 cents.

lol that is a load of crap. ive had ppl say there dad was one of the designers for halo2, a producer of half life 2 lol that was the noobiest one yetlaugh:
well anywayz that would be cool if they came out with d3 but if they made u pay i would be p/o. That is y i dont play WoW ($15 a month omg!!)
