Try putting 50% damage reduce magic attribute on a charm in your inventory.

You can also use charges of Energy Shield. While energy shield is on, it can reduce the damage you take by up to 95%.

So, with both of the above, the total damage gets reduced to 2.5% of its "original" value.

That should help a bit.
