Mf gear 4 Cold Sorc

I have a cold sorc and he/she is a MF'er and i need to know the best gear for a cold mfer i just herd to many that sounded dumb... And i just needed to know whip:

Amulet:Tal ammy
Belt: tal belt
Those 3 things giv u a shitload of mf.
Helm topaz shako
Rings: dual sojs
Gloves: magefist or chance guards
Boots: p war travs
Wep:Ist'd occy
Shield: spirit or um'd lidless or ss

N haf like 8-9 cold gcs and an anni.

With all dat u do around 800 orb and haf round 450 mf.

I was just wonderin...why magefist? I know chance guards are ok mf, but magefist gives +to fire skills right? With frostburns you could at least get a bonus to cold damage, i think. And the mana boost. If you're mf I'd say the chance guards, but if not why should a cold sorc go with mages?

i would say the setup are different depending what monster you are killing like bosses, ilvl, etc...

Armor: Tal's armor(PTopaz'd)
Amulet: Tal's ammy
Belt: Goldwrap/Tal's belt
Gloves: Chance Guard
Boots: War Trav
Rings: 2x Nagel's
Helm: Shako(PTopaz'd)
Shield: Spirit > Lidless > Splendor(?)
Weapon: Occy

These should be around 300%'ish MF which would make it nice for boss runs

why would u get all those gcs? u would have no space for picking up ur items........

Magefist=fcr,mana regen

Oh ok. I forget the bonuses sometimes, but also I use Insight on my merc, so that takes care of mana regen. Insight is a great runeword for a mf sorc's merc - mana regen, good damage, plus mf on your merc. Not hard to find the runes either. Also, I have both Frostburns and Magefist, and I use Chance Guards. Just my choice though..
