i can see that not having the best tv and such can be a problem. but not being able to play xbox games isnt a problem at all. it doesnt take that long to swtich the plugs and anyways why would you want to play your old xbox when you got a 360!

i agree with shao , yet some games are worth playing (HALO2) and to play those all u need to do s install the emulator from Xbox live, xbox.com, or burn it onto a cd

What X-Box games did you play? You were obviously never introduced to the KoTOR series, yes released on PC but they blew on PC.

Yep, i did play KOTOR series and no discussion there both of the games were very very good. I can't remember a singel game that has gotten me so interested in a long time. I did play them on the pc though, i was more referring to Xbox exclusive games that's why i brought up the example of Final Fantasy for PS3. That's not true any more though since they will be making new FFs for both Xbox and PS3.

I think this emulator stuff is going to leak one day and we'll have a fully working Xbox emu for pc.

Like most people are saying this really isn't an issue for someone who already owns an xbox because you can just hook the old one up. But for someone like me this is a big issue because i don't own an xbox.

Yes there are like 18 games coming out on release but most of them don't look too great to me or arn't exclusive to xbox360. Oh madden 06 coming to 360 i better go get one right now. Seriously the only game i'd play right now and the only reason i might get a 360 would be for perfect dark zero. Until ps3 and revolution come out i'll just wait to buy one. Maybe i'll buy an xbox and play battlefront II on it since you can't play it on the 360.

I blame you for posting it and acting like everything typed there were the complete and utter truth. "Zomg, I didn't write it, I just read it and it somehow ended up in my post on a thread I created for it... and I just happened to praise it" doesn't exactly cut it.

I don't have an HDTV, and I don't really care. I'm gonna get the 360 not for the graphics of the games coming on it, but more for the like... oh-my-gosh... the games! There are tons of games coming out for it that, like, aren't on the old Xbox.

Backwards compatability? Who gives a shit? You do? Well I don't, that's for sure, and that's all I really care about. I was perfectly content when they announced that it wouldn't have backwards compatability in previous Xbox magazines. Perhaps they could have had better games on the list, but I don't honestly give a damn either way. Stop b!tching about it, seaHWANG. It seems to be the fodder of every argument you make, almost.

xbox 360 seems to be just like a mini-PC to me....i dont see the point...maybe if it only cost like $100-150 i'd understand...but that thing costs so much, its ridiculous...was the same with ps2 when it came out. but if you guys really have that much money to blow or your parents spoil you rotten, i guess have at it

Maybe its not a good idea to buy it at launch, I can see what people are talking about there, there aren't many games for launch to me either except PDZ. And the people have played PDZ have said the multiplayer is alot better than Halo 2's. That's probably enough to win me over seeing I still play H2 with my friends online. From what I remember, the original Xbox just about only had Halo on its launch. Since then there have been plenty of great games, so just wait a couple months after launch and I'm sure we'll see some more games. I myself haven't looked into the other games that are coming after launch.
