Yeh my strategy has always seemed to buy a system after another one/couple other(s) come out. I did this when I got a Sega Dreamcast after PS2/Xbox/Gamecube came out. I loved the Dreamcast, and eventually I did get a Gamecube where I once again loved it. Now I figure if the games are backwards compatible maybe I could invest some into an Xbox (some people may not need it anymore and therefore sell it, or the company could just lower the price. This also applies to the other 2 companies when their other 2 next-gens come out). In terms of the next-gen consoles, I'm perhaps thinking of getting a Revolution (it has backwards compatibility towards all of the old school Nintendo games; sure you may have to pay for it, but you also had to pay for all the games like Halo and stuff that you will be playing on the Xbox 360, and the prices prolly won't be crazy for the old games on the Revolution.) In terms of the controller, if you really can't get a handle (figuratively speaking) of this new type of controller, I believe i read there will be a cradle that you can attach it to and play like any regular controller.

xbox 360 seems to be just like a mini-PC to me....i dont see the point...maybe if it only cost like $100-150 i'd understand...but that thing costs so much, its ridiculous...was the same with ps2 when it came out. but if you guys really have that much money to blow or your parents spoil you rotten, i guess have at it

The same goes for the PS3. I heard that was coming out and I started stashing money for that as well.

Yep, i did play KOTOR series and no discussion there both of the games were very very good. I can't remember a singel game that has gotten me so interested in a long time. I did play them on the pc though, i was more referring to Xbox exclusive games that's why i brought up the example of Final Fantasy for PS3. That's not true any more though since they will be making new FFs for both Xbox and PS3.

I think this emulator stuff is going to leak one day and we'll have a fully working Xbox emu for pc.

FF'S aren't on both platforms, just ff11

First, I don't neglect battles I've lost. Every battle I've walked away from were ones that I felt were just becoming repetitive or I just never saw the thread brought up again.

1st off, i've never had a problem with you before now, not really sure what crawled up your butt today, but whatever.

2nd, do you honestly believe i was angry about you swearing?

3rd, yea that post was uncalled for, but i was trying to warn people about a program that can cause them a hell of a lot of stress if they play HC like i do and i was very angry, try playing HC and actually having to work to get 80+ and then have some punk kid kill you with a cowardly program and see if you dont get mad

4th, yea, i do think mods should hold themselves to a little higher standard of behavior than regular members. you are authority figures and you should conduct yourselves accordingly. if you are breaking rules yourself how can you expect memebers to listen to you?

boon, between those 2 articles people posted it will tell you everything xbox360 does and does not do. but for the most part it will probably be exactly the same difference between this generation of gaming console as the difference between the ps1 and ps2 generations
