how to make a mod?

i have a text file fo a mod but how do i make it an actual mod? i read the tut but i just have atext file that some1 gave me but its no mod files just a .txt

what mod is it? if its eastern sun ou mite have dl the mpq version which is just a patch

unfortunately i didnt download it a friend gave it to me but its just a .txt file i dont know how to make it a mod
.but what it does is it makes funkis (both .09 and .11) and also hex dodgers killable i cant tell u how it works cuz i wouldnt have go tit if i gave it out...i just need to know how to make it a mod

If your wanting to know how to make it a format that everyone knows (patch.mpq) then you need to download a Mpq file inserter.
Go to phrozenkeep.it-point.com it's the home of D2 modding and you'll find any mod related tool or tutorial you want there.

they have great tuts there also i would use version 1.10s or a 1.09 since 1.11 is still loaded with several bugs it is ezer to crash in 1.11
