I dont feel very safe using d2 loader. I got another way of making it work. (Copied my entire d2 folder, changed cdkeys in one folder and replaced some .dll to remove the multiple client protection, is this method safe?) Anyways, I was wondering about this:
Awhile ago I read something about the warden modules scanning all active programs in your taskbar and looking for things like maphack. Is this true? Because if so, they can detect I'm running 2 d2 clients. Now I'm wondering, is there a way to change the name of a d2 window to something else than diablo II?
Thanks

Can't you use -title MY TITLE in one of the shortcuts? like C:\Program Files\Diablo II\Diablo II.exe -title MY TITLE in one of them... add the -title at the end... i think that works??

it has the ability too, but it can't legaly do it since it breaks privacy laws.
IP things irrelevant too, the only action they take on multiple ips is restrict 4 identical ips to a game.
D2 loader has been around for ages and no one has ever been banned for it as far as i know. A good portion of the d2 community uses it, i wouldn't worry too much. To change the window you need d2 loader. In the target bar add -title name here.

one thing i thought about.
Are they allowed to scan your taskbar? wouldnt that be considered an invasion of privacy?
