Yea, and Video in lets you play TV on your computer. Word of warning tho, most TVs run at a much lower resoultion than computers.

It's actually for my friend. He's getting a computer for graduation and instead of letting me build it he's buying one from iBUYpower.com. Also, is Newegg.com my best bet for cheap but good laptops? Or should I build one myself? Although I've never built a laptop myself, is it just as easy as desktops?

Half Life 2 anyone?

Unfortunately you can't build laptops, the closest thing you can get to that is upgrading (usually just the RAM, HDD, and optical drive). Because everything's so cramped it's almost impossible to do anything else. Newegg is probably just as good a site as any for buying one though.

Now, give me some DVD burning information. I want just a plain DVD burner. I don't know what the standard is anymore. All I know is I need to burn DVDs as well as CDs. I'm not aware if they have CD-R/RW DVD-R/RW combo drives, but that would be a plus. Any help there?

Yep, they do have CD/DVD burner combos. Are you looking for one for a laptop, or desktop?
