First off, I'm not sure if this the right section to place this thread, but moderators, or whomever, if this is in the incorrect spot, please move it to your liking or such.
Well, I was playing Diablo 2: Lord of Destruction with a friend on ladder, and I was using Sting's MH, so I'm playing, and I'm magic finding with him, and then all of a sudden, I get disconnected without reasoning or such. So I'm like, oh, it must be that I crashed or something or my internet crashed (wasn't sure at the time).
So I start up Diablo 2 again, since I closed it... then I load up my account set my realm and such, but then this time I notice a message. And it contains the word 'temporarily', so I'm not sure how long it'll last. But yea, as I was saying I was talking about MH with my friend, if he uses it or such, and hes like no. But he doesn't ask me. So yea. But I was using it at the time too. And I was wondering when I was IP Banned (I think) I was wondering whether it was because of actually using Sting's or talking about MH in general.
Okay, so I'm like confused right now, and I don't want to ban evade by using proxies and stuff (which I don't fully know how to do and if anyone wants to help me, private message me or something). And I don't want to use proxies all that much because I don't want to make my ban worse or anything.
Anways, the message that I got when I tried joining was, 'Your connection has been temporarily restricted from this realm. Please try to log in at another time'.
And I don't want to start on East unless someone can hook me up with some gear or whatnot.
But, I was wondering if anyone knew how long these types of bans were? (I tried another, different cd-key and tried to login, that is how I figured it was an IP ban, but whatever).
If you want proof, check out this screenshot I took when I tried logging in and choosing a character, instead of a character selection screen, I was suddenly overwhelmed with a message.

But that's for making me happier, it's always good to cheer someone up. But, I'd still like to hear what else it might be... (if it's possible).
